  2. We're having a big amount of guest lately! I'm sure they're all looking for help!! So We hope you can register with LCO and come back more often. If you've found help here... maybe you can help others! And you can also join us in chat. Click the link on the top menu! Welcome guests!! BPanther
  3. Looks like you need to work on your patience too My advice is to go to the Gym in the croft manor and practice doing those jumps with special attention to the camera. It's a bit tricky when you're not used to it. You need to press the keys ( WSAD) according to the position of the camera. If the camera is behind Lara and you want to jump backwards, press S.... if the camera is in front of Lara, you need to press W.... it's hard when you're starting but don't give up! Good luck BPanther
  4. Hi Rika! For me, it worked best to pull the switch twice. The second time you do it, you don't get the cut scene of the statues moving so you can position yourself in a good place to start the jumps and actually jump to the first 'plate' when it's not completely out yet. The sequence of jumps is just like Shrensh told you though. This tip just gives you some extra seconds to do the whole thing. Good luck, BPanther

Hi all!! I'll update the gallery this weekend and let you know EDIT: As you probably noticed, the recent forum update changed a few things, including the gallery. We're currently fixing it, so ignore it for now. We'll keep you posted on that. p.s. Great pics people. Von croy, do you want your pic in the gallery too? BPanther
  6. Welcome Back Boaz! It's great to see you again!! I saw your profile photo!! Really different!! But looking great!! Are you still taking look alike photos of you as Lara?? Don't forget to share them with us, if you do!! Maybe you can post the ones you've used to do anyway? I was trying to find them, but we lost them when we moved the forum! BPanther
  7. Finished too!! I bet you didn't see that one coming, did you? I was really enjoying it too. I've managed to do some of that dodging crap... I mean, move.... but using the controller! So that makes me feel a bit better!! I've started with the time trials! I've done the first level so far! Loved the game, obviously, but I still feel a bit annoyed with some things that I've mentioned in other threads. I'm pretty sure if Raek and I weren't playing next to each other, I would probably quit or use save games at some point! BPanther
  8. After reading her book about her journeys to some of those places where people are desperate for food, she never mentioned that type of action. She's aware of how lucky she is, of course, but never stopped eating because of it. She says that are other ways to help, she actually quite often does some private donations. I'm not sure if I can believe that story unless it comes from AJ herself. If she's ill, it might be something else. I mean, even famous people get ill. But I hope she feels better soon. BPanther
  9. Did you try Blaze Media Pro? Go here for more info! BPanther
  10. I still can't make it... It's my nightmare... I haven't been able to kill the bosses without help! Really frustrating! I'm playing on Hard Mode and maybe that doesn't help.. I wish they make it possible to kill it without the move.... Boaz, welcome back!!! wow... I sent you a pm! Hope to get a reply from you soon! (still using your msn account? ) BPanther
  11. Hi RC! I played TR 1 for the first time just before Anniversary and I was a bit worried that the game would be too similar for me to enjoy it. But the graphics are so different and they changed the puzzles that things are old and new at the same time. Sometimes I have some dificulty comparing the rooms. It's amazing the difference and sometimes it's so different that it's hard to recognize the rooms! I definetely prefer TRA though. The puzzles are harder and more challenging. As for the bad things, I've mentioned them in my review of the game. The level of dificulty isn't balanced when it comes to finding/picking up artefacts and relics and some moves are very hard to do for a PC user (when playing on Hard Mode, anyway). BPanther
  12. *endless scream* very cool effect!!!
  13. Hi Shrensh! I missed some things too and when I'm in the mood for it, I replay the level to find it. I found one missing artefact from the very first level and one artifact and one relic from Natla's mines (VERY clever place to put the relic, imo). I'm only missing one artefact so far, in the Obelisk of Kamoon, the insane timed run with insane jumps! God, I hate that bit!! grrr BPanther
  14. Blade, Thanks for the details. Shrensh, that is the BEST tip ever!!! Thanks! BPanther
  15. I know how you feel... I hate being stuck myself! can you post a screenshot of where exactly you are and I'll try to help. My memory isn't so good sometimes... BPanther
  16. Once you reach the top of the building, there's a ledge you can jump to, to the right (if you're facing the building) and then jump into the building. Good luck, BPanther
  17. Almost done with Natlas's Mines, but I'm missing the relic and some artifacts. I might start it again... BPanther
  18. As far as I know, the boulder is just to kill you if you run in front of it... but I didn't even try! But Raek pushed it all the way down and to the water and it wasn't necessary at all. By 3 switches, I mean: - left one (puzzle 1)- raises the water level till their feet - right one ( puzzle 2) - raises the water level till their knees - There's one of those beetles that go down, also to your right, next to one of the legs.... but you need to do some things before getting to it. - Opens a gate (you go through it when the room is completely filled with water) The main lever is only to lower the water level - you need it more than once. BPanther
  19. Hi there... that's a tricky one indeed.... here are some tips ( don't want to ruin everything for you): - look at the beetles on each side of the statues... you can shoot them but they have a specific way of being shot... observe closely... - lower and raise the water as you need it... there's a timed run you need to do too. - There's one box you need to push down - 3 switches in total you need to press to get the relic... - DON'T leave the room without the relic!! Let me know if you need more help BPanther
  20. Hi all, Even though I didn't finish the game yet (finishing the Sanctuary of scion now) here are some thoughts: Most of you referred to the best things the game has and I agree with them. But there are some things that I consider really important: - The controls - I've never had problems with the controls. I actually think I'm quite good and fast using them with a keyboard. But some moves are too hard, in my opinion, for a PC user. E.g. the dodge move. I'm playing the game on hard and some of these moves are impossible, while with the controller, they're very easy. Something to think about, anyway.... - The artifacts and the relics - Quite pleased with the meaning they gave to the relics. Much better than finding a useless dragon, for example. But the level of dificulty is very incoherent, in my opinion. Some relics are VERY easy to find and to pick up, and then you have insane timed runs, with a series of insane jumps with NO checkpoints, just for an artifact, which are 'less' important than the relics. And the only checkpoint you have half way through a timed run, that I can think of now, you need to pull the switch each time. So, what's the point in having one checkpoint half way through a timed run if, in case you die, you need to go back and pull a switch? Doesn't make much sense to me... the level of difficulty isn't balanced. Anyway, that's about it for now... I might edit my post once I finish the game. BPanther
  21. Further on in the game you'll be even more happy that you actually keep the artifacts when you die before a checkpoint.... trust me.... BPanther
  22. There's a limit to what you can carry, yes! I've never ran out of ammo though. BPanther
  23. There are some things you pull with the grapple! That helps you to move around! Good luck! BPanther
  24. Those "constelations" have something in common.... There's more than one, so could through them all shooting like you've done with the first! Let us know if you need more help. Trying not to give up too much! BPanther
