Some of the movie critics say the same thing I said about Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 * It's an elaborate game of hurry-up-and-wait. And it's the most shameless example yet of splitting the final book in a hugely popular series into two film adaptations. * Mockingjay has more exposition than a TED Talk, more rubble than a decade of The Flintstones, and absolutely no nonmonetary reason to be Part 1 of anything. It isn't storytelling. It's a filibuster. * The film is dour and lumbering, with only a handful of rousing scenes to justify the blatantly financial choice to split the novel into two films. * Weak source material split into two films for no creative advantage only results in a disappointing artistic decision ruled by financial greed. The film anti-climatically makes us wait and leaves us asking: "For what?"

The first act of the book for Mockingjay was not written for it to be intended to be made into 2 movies.

I was at Central Market today and they already have the Christmas decorations up: wreaths over the meat and seafood glass cases, strings of lights throughout the store, giant candles and ornaments hanging from the ceilings, etc. A big tall fully decorated and lit up tree in the entrance. We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet. They couldn't wait until Thanksgiving weekend was over a week from now before putting up the Christmas lights and decorations?

Free Fall (2014) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3259178/ I kept waiting for something exciting to happen and nothing ever did. Unfortunately the writer of this movie couldn't come up with anything more imaginative or fruitful or even original aside from a cliched plot of a woman stuck in an office tower's elevator while trying to get away from a killer. I think the writer started out as "Hey! I can write a Die Hard with a girl movie" but then when he actually sat down to write the script, he just couldn't come up with anything. Sort of like back in school when you were told to write a paper on what you did during your Summer vacation. You were all excited and you were ready to write a detailed paper on everything you did during your Summer vacation: you wrote your name on the top of the paper and after that, your train of though just came to a complete stop and you'd spent the rest of the class staring at the paper not knowing what to write down next beside "On my Summer vacation, I...". 1/5

I don't remember seeing that trailer... oh well... But from the end cut scene in TRLR it looked like she was buried alive and seriously injured. It would had taken a lot of manpower and machinery to dig through all the rubble to get to her while she was still alive.

15 years ago on November 22nd, 1999, Tomb Raider Last Revelation was released for the Sony Playstation 1. I am still looking for the answer to the same question I had when I finished playing TRLR 15 years ago. What happened to Lara at the end? How did she survive being trapped in the Temple of Horus to reappear later in Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness?

Nothing but set pieces put together to make a nearly 2 hours movie (if you don't include the ending credits). Then aside from the unneeded profanity, you had scenes that were out of place that were just put in by the screenwriters as fillers. There is nothing in the movie that made me care for those characters or for whatever they were looking for or that held my attention. It took me several viewings over 3 nights for me to finish it from beginning to end. Also what's the deal with Howard The Duck at the end? 1/5

His Dark Knight films were a sacrilegious executionable offense to all fine film makers. If Stanley Kubrick wasn't rolling in his grave after Gravity, he has to be rolling in his grave now. 0.5/5 Also there was a major sound problem with the film and it wasn't just limited to one theater. The way the dialogue audio track was recorded was poor! Watching Guardians Of The Galaxy and trying to make any sense of it! So confusing! I looked it up on IMDB and according to IMBD FAQ section for this film: Does this have a connection to the other movies? (the Avengers etc) Yes. This film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the same universe as Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Avengers (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Ant-Man (2015). This film will be part of Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe setting up Avengers: Age of Ultron. It will take place largely in outer space (as does the comic book). In the mid-credits scene of Thor: The Dark World, Lady Sif and Volstagg bring the Aether to The Collector, who is played by Benicio Del Toro. When The Collector asks him why they are giving him the Aether, Lady Sif and Volstagg respond that they already have the Tesseract in Odin's vault on Asgard, and it would be unsafe to keep two Infinity Stones in one place. After Lady Sif and Volstagg leave, The Collector says, "One down, five to go". This scene serves a link between Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy. One important highlight of this scene is Adam Warlock's cocoon, which can be seen when Volstagg and Lady Sif are entering The Collector's vault. In the comics, the stones were fastened to the Infinity Gauntlet, which is also stored in Odin's vault and was briefly seen in Thor. Thanos gets hold of the Infinity Gauntlet and has fought The Avengers on many occasions. Gamora is also Thanos' adopted daughter, which could have implications to her background as an assassin. It is possible that the film and the Marvel Cinematic Universe could follow this trend. Since this film takes place in outer space, referencing other characters and films was somewhat difficult. Most of the action that's happening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe occurs on Earth, so it seems there won't be any interaction with the Avengers for now. Even though this film has limited references compared to the rest of the films, there are still some that help establish a connection between them. During a scene when the Guardians visit the Collector, a Chitauri mask can be seen, referencing the events that took place in The Avengers. There is also a Dark Elf mask from Thor: The Dark World, which is shown while Carina is cleaning the cage. In the after-credits scene, Adam Warlock's cocoon is seen again, this time in the background, but it is now open, probably due to the explosion after Carina touched the Infinity Stone. Shortly after the film's release, director James Gunn confirmed that Adam Warlock will now be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So nowadays if you miss out on one of these 'comic books' based films, you won't know what the heck is going on with the next one because they are all connected to each other in one way or another. For instance, back to the QUOTE from IMDB above: I have seen all those films one time and one time only. I don't remember them in details so how am I supposed to make sense of anything or see a connection between them and with Guardians Of The Galaxy? Just a ploy from these film-makers to want you to watch these movies several times and spend the $ to do it. Can we have stand alone movies?

We are still closed on Wednesday and Thursday as we have been doing for years now. I refuse to stay open on Thursday and make my employees miss out on the Holiday and time with their families.

The Force doesn't awaken by the way. It's always there. Yoda: The question is not whether it's awake or dormant. The question is if one can control it. The title may be The Force awaken but I think the movie will put us to sleep!!

What is it with the folks on IMDB? If you go there and say you don't like something and your opinion differs from theirs, they start calling you obscene names or ignorant or something to that effect. What makes THEIR opinion MORE important and MORE valid than mine? Why do so many of them have a God Complex there? Then if they can't win an argument, they stoop down low and start to criticize your grammar or say things like "You must be 12 years old and still living in your Mom's basement!" Argue the facts like a MAN and like an Adult or get the Heck Out!
