  1. I liked my Sega Saturn. I would never had been able to play those Japanese Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar: Eternal Blue RPG games if I never had a Saturn.
  2. That list of games that's not "activated" are some of the best games. The games that's actually on there that are activated, most of them sucks! How the heck do you do a Playstation Classic game console and you leave out Tomb Raider? I also read elsewhere that Resident Evil is also on that list of missing games. Resident Evil and Tomb Raider are the first games I ever had on my Playstation 1. I brought home a Playstation 1 just so I could play Tomb Raider on it which I've already played on the Sega Saturn and on the PC but I wanted to see what it looked like on the Playstation 1. At same time, I also had Resident Evil and Ace Combat - something for me to play when I finish Tomb Raider. I knew nothing about Resident Evil and I was so hooked on it right away after trying it for a few minutes, I almost never did play Tomb Raider Sony Playstation version.
  3. The month of December was not about Christmas. It was about farmers celebrating the abundant crop harvest before the winter hits and about the change of the seasons and the coming of the new (with another hopefully plentiful crop) year. Someone selfishly decided to take it and make it as their own, create a brain washing cult and make it about religion and the birth of a fictional character in their fictional book. Now in many places it's not even about religion anymore, it's about how much freaking money Capitalism loving companies can separate the masses from and all about give me give me give me expensive items that a few weeks after Christmas, most of those items are sitting somewhere forgotten, gathering dust, or have become paperweights. There are folks who even get offended when you wish them "Merry Christmas". You are supposed to be careful and sensible because you don't know who may find "Merry Christmas" offensive, so you are supposed to say "Happy Holidays" now instead of "Merry Christmas".
  4. Week #14 of 17: 4 weeks left including this week. The start of the December home stretch to the end of the season. For many teams who have a record of 5-7 or worse, it's win every game from now on if they even want to have a wild card spot. For teams that have a record of 7-5 to 9-3, they are not out of the woods yet. If they lose 3 to 4 games out of the next 4 games including this week's, they can still lose a playoff spot. It's pretty much do or die for every team now if they want to hold on to their current playoff spot or secure a playoff spot. The only team as of right now that has a guaranteed playoff spot are the Los Angeles Rams. Even the other 3 teams in the Divisional rounds in the graphics below: the Patriots, the Chiefs and the Saints, can still fall from grace if they don't win most or all of their next 4 games. I do like to see the Patriots fall into the wild card. Go Miami! Beat them Patriots!
  5. It was originally on the Sega Saturn first before it went to Playstation and the PC.
  6. That $2,500 video card will fit perfectly in this humble desktop: ^^^ WOW! That's $16,648.69 U.S. at today's exchange rate. It's like a car. It loses a ton of value as soon as you drive it off the lot and in a couple of months or more or so, it's outdated.
  7. New Captain Marvel Full Trailer
  8. $2,500 24 GB video card!! https://gizmodo.com/whats-the-deal-with-nvidias-ridiculous-2-500-titan-rt-1830822188 The computer it goes in must have at least 24 GB RAM plus more RAM to run the OS and other programs. For argument sake, let's say a computer with 45 GB RAM. Plus the processing CPU and the motherboard needs to be able to process a 24 GB video card. Do they even make one that has that much RAM and that much CPU power? Plus you don't need a 24 GB RAM video card to run 4K or 3D videos or even the latest PC games. Is this video card even made for home PCs? I just looked on Fry's website and the most expensive desktop PC they carry is $3,900 and here's are the specs, only 32 GB RAM. Purpose VR Ready Processor Speed 3.3 GHz Hard Drive 3000 GB SSD 480 GB Memory 32 GB Operating System Windows 10 CybertronPC CLX Set GXE7700 VR Ready Gaming PC - Liquid-Cooled Intel Core X-Series Core i9-7900X 3.30GHz (4.5GHz Turbo Boost Max) 10-Core Processor, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, 3TB Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 video, RGB Lightstrip w/remote, includes USB Keyboard and Mouse, White Gaming Chassis with 600W 80+ Power Supply, Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-Bit
  9. Looks like Morphie and Sir T guessed them all. I can go on Christmas vacation now!
  10. The answers to the remaining unsolved images are on Page #2 https://www.laracroftonline.net/index.php?/topic/8678-sixth-and-final-film-quiz-of-2018-guess-the-titles-of-these-movies/&page=2
  11. Pittsburgh sucks! They had a 23-7 lead at halftime and they blew it. 30-30 with 3 seconds left in the game and the Chargers are attempting a 39 yard FG for the win. The FG is no good and the game should go into overtime but the Steelers were offside so the Chargers get a free FG attempt. Now it's a 34 yard FG attempt for the win and the FG is no good again and again the game should go into overtime but nope, the Steelers are offside again giving the Chargers another free FG attempt! So now it's a 29 yard FG attempt for the win and the Steelers are offside again but it doesn't matter because the FG is good this time and the Chargers win.
  12. Green Bay Packers fires head coach Mike McCarthy after the Packer's loss to the Arizona Cardinals today. The same head coach that in 13 years, coached the Packers to 6 Division Championships, 1 NFC Championship and 1 Super Bowl win. This is why I wouldn't coach any sports teams, professional or college, football, basketball, baseball, etc. You win they love you. You have one losing season and you are gone. They never remember the good, always blow up the bad. Not every season is going to be a winning season. Not every game is going to be a win. Someone has to win it and someone has to lose it and it's not always going to be your team. This is the result of living in a country and society where we want and crave constant instant gratification!!
  13. This guy sucks. He forced those passes in there when his receivers were double or triple covered. 2 of those INTs resulted in a Houston TD and a FG. Houston up 23-0 at halftime. Unless Cleveland performs a miracle comeback win during the upcoming 2nd half, it looks like Houston will be 9-3 after today.
  14. It was dull. Save yourself some time and don't waste time watching it, Morphie.
  15. Venom (2018) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1270797/ If you search online for the definition of Hot Mess You will get many results but mainly, you will get several similar results including these two: 1. ...refers to when a "person's appearance is in a state of total disarray while still maintaining an undeniable attractiveness & allure." Hot messes' are appealing for a variety of reasons, most notably because they're generally unexpected, capricious, & agonizingly provocative. Additionally, numerous contingent factors make duplication rare and continual repetition virtually impossible. No one set of guidelines can perpetually determine what distinguishes a "hot mess" from an above-average train wreck. Regardless of the circumstances, you know it when you see it; because they are typically conspicuous, and obviously they are always awesome."... 2. ...A disheveled or unbalanced person, particularly one who is nevertheless — or therefore — attractive... That is exactly what Venom, the latest film based on yet another Marvel Comic is, a: Hot Mess Venom is also the first film to be produced by Sony under the Sony's Marvel Universe, not part of the long running 20 films (and counting) Marvel Cinematic Universe produced by Marvel studios. Originally Sony wanted to make this an R rated film and decided to make it a PG-13 film for the obvious reason: it will sell more tickets at the box office. The result is a movie that should be dark horror film but it doesn't work because it had to meet PG-13 rating guidelines. Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams do their best with their roles but for the entire film, they are mostly just window dressing. The ongoing plot with Carlton Drake, a multi-billionaire modeled after Elon Musk (?), who has his own spaceships that will make NASA green with envy is just absurd and unbelievable. For a movie with a nearly $116 million dollars budget, the CGI looks like it was made in the 90's using computers before computers had Windows and Pentium and AMD and ATI and 3dfx. This movie feels like one of those horror B-movies from the 90's. It's not fun, it's not exciting, it's not suspenseful, it's not thrilling. The only reason it's doing so well at the box office is 1. because it's another Marvel comics based movie so naturally everyone from age 5 to 30 will run to see it and 2. because it's a Hot Mess I can't recommend this movie one bit. 1/5
  16. and about all the prezzies he will be getting. Ahhhhh... I wish I was still young and between the age of 3 and 17 again, back in those days when I actually looked forward to Christmas as a receiver, not as a giver.
  17. It's not December yet.
