Every time i turn of my computer, i keep getting several "Program Not Responding" windows. I can't Remember what they are called. But is there any way to fix it?

I downloaded a Trial Version of a game from MSN yesterday. I also accidentally closed it, so now i can't download it anymore without it saying "Your Trial Version Has Expired". I have tried changing my IP, though not sure i am doing that properly. I have uninstalled & searched/deleted everything else relevant to it. Then Blade & I had a convo about the Registry Key: the game is made by Oberon & i do have a folder in the Registry for Oberon. However i do also "Own" a game by the same company. It seems that the forums and my computer don't get along too well. More than half the time if I try to scroll down or go to another page, my computer stalls and on some occasions has to reload the page just to scroll down. I tried to see if this was connected to another member for some reason, but it even happens on the forum's front page. Has anyone else had this problem? What could be causing this? This hasn't happened on any other site I go to.

What do I need to do to get TR 2 to work on XP? I read on Stella's TR site that it needs some tweaking to run properly...and my game doesnt run properly meaning it crashes after the first level and some of the sound is missing? what do i need to do to get it to work right? Help Thanks

Ok today I came home from work and I wanted to get online. I turn my monitor on and find this error message on my screen .....A .DLL file NPPTOOLS.DLL could not be found.... then Zonealarm pops up a message saying a program is trying to access the internet mmx761.exe...I've denied these things everytime and still they come up.....are these things some sort of virus and can I even get rid of them? Someone please help :( I fixed my problem....had to go into the msconfig and disable the files from loading at startup....so now I'm error free :)

I don't know if anybody here knows much about Linksys wireless routers, but if anyone could help me I would be ever so grateful... Last weekend the internet at my place went down. A couple of day ago it came back on again, but suddenly the wireless router (Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router) wouldn't connect anybody up to the network. It just gave the message "limited or no connectivity". My Landlord's son restored the router to its default factory settings, and after that it would connect us up to the network, but we can't access the internet with it. Microsoft still sucks no matter how many times you update it. Ever since an update 2 months ago, all embedded video in a website opens with the pop up button that says click on active x control. They used to autoplay within the browser window without you needing to click on it. Sometime if you don't click it right away, it freezes the browser. Or if I have multiple browser windows open and I minimize one to maximize another, it ends up closing all the webpages I was viewing. Or if I'm in a webpage and I Right Click on a Hyperlink within that page to open it in a new window, it closes all the webpages and I have to reopen everything. I switched to Avant Browser…

Please go here: http://www.egotastic.com/ I am not seeing any of the images on that page, just the text hyperlinks where the pictures are supposed to be. I went under settings and checked to make sure Images are not blocked for that site and there are not. But if I open the same page with IE, it works fine. So something in Firefox is causing the problem. It worked fine last night too and it's been a few days since I upgraded to Firefox 1.5 and this is the first time this happened.

I got a new high speed connection about a couple weeks ago and since then I've been having problems. First thing is my sound, it tends to repeat like a broken record would. Next thing is my clock, it gets behind. I did download an atomic clock program that allows me to adjust the time, but that gets annoying after a few times. I have thought of a couple of a solutions to fix my computer, but I want to get some input from some of you guys here before I do anything. If you have anything helpful, feel free to post it.

Hello everyone. I've had a new computer for not even a year, and the sound has started to bug out. I have to crank everything, the computer volume, the video volume, and the headphone volume up to hear sounds correctly. It was someone bearable, but it seems to have gotten worse. In Tomb Raider 3, the TALKING (the background noise works fine) is extremely low and echoing. Do you think I should upgrade my sound card or get a new set of headphones? Thanks for anybody's help.

I was noticing how we can post pics, quotes, etc. into a thread and now you can even upload pics the PC instead of having to use web hosting. Is it possible to do something similar with sound? I'd like to be able to allow people to click on a link and hear a wav file but I don't know if there is a code like we use with pics: .

After downloading The Angel of Darkness Press Kit there is no way to open the folder. I guess that not all of the parts of archive have been uploaded (cause in fact it's possible to download only 64 out of 142mb). So is it able to fix this problem?

I realize this is probably more suitable in the PC Tech Centre, but it's very important, and felt that it would grab more attention here. Just to warn all of you who use MSN (Or any Instant Messenger software) that there is a virus that is spreading as a horrible joke throughout the MSN community. If you get a message from someone that says this, (This is an example) "Hey, is this you in this picture? (A link will be here)" Do NOT click the link, as it will download a virus onto your computer, which has various effects. Mostly it will cause your computer to freeze, dramatically slow down, or not start up. So, that's just a heads up! MsC

My sister went on holiday to Spain recently, and while she was there she had a bunch of photos (200+) written to CD. Unfortunately it seems that the CD is corrupt and all the photos are unreadable except for the first 7 or so on the disc. It appears to be a cyclic redundundancy check error (not that I know that much what that means, but there you go). I've tried a few programmes (ISOBuster, CD Check, Unstoppable Copier, one or two others) but none of them has worked. Anyone have any other programmes or suggestions for a good way to get the pictures off the CD, or are they gone forever? Any help would be appreciated

Its been like this for a while. At first I thought it was because some of the stuff I wanted to download was simply being blocked but its greyed out on everything. I tried snooping around the internet options section but I havn't seen anything that looked helpful. Then I thought it might be My anti-virus but Norton doesn't look like it has the capability either. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a bunch!!!

Okay, so i recently installed a patched version of QuickPlay because the Custom Level Installer needs it, and the version I had only flashed a black box for a second and then closed. When I went to unzip everything, there were a whole lot of files. Some said "Segagenisis, Gameboy, ATARI 2600, etc." Is this normal? I'm sure not all of this is needed just to run the program. Please, someone who knows what I'm talking about, help. Thanks in advance.

anyone heard of this virus? my anti-virus picked it up yesterday - 4 entries - but it can't get rid of it is it harmful? is my pc at risk? seems to be running ok atm, with the exception of shutting down unexpectedly this morning Java/byteverify??? any help would be appreciated btw, i have avg anti-virus, windows firewall, ad-aware, spybot.
