Every time I go to Youtube to watch a video, like the millions of other users do, my (Firefox) browser crashes. I get "this program has performed an illegal operation" and then I have to close the program. I've tried looking at what caused the crash with the details option and I don't know what all that junk means. Can someone that knows programming tell me why it happens? I know it's only in beta but lol my god it's so slow and awful didn't even find my lan driver and that is like such a basic item to find. I kind of expected it actually. They really need to just make a better version of XP if that's possible because since Bill Gates left they seem to be sinking the ship over there and allowing Apple and Linux to grow. I installed Linux Mint after I couldn't roll it back. Found everything and what a great OS. My friend just bought the Tomb Raider Chronicles game for PC, and when he tried to install it onto his computer, it said that it was already installed, even though he has never had it before. After that, he tried playing it and it wouldn't start. It keeps closing out of it. And he said it's not in the add and remove programs thing. He was going to uninstall it and reinstall but it won't let him. How very peculiar. Does anyone have ideas...? This is rather strange.

My Radeon 980XT has just given out on me and I'm therefore looking for a decent value replacement AGP card. I only really play 2 games, TR Anniversary and Half Life 2 (I've just upgraded to the Orange Box edition, but have not yet had it out of the packaging). Apart from the odd freeze playing TR Anniversary, I have very little to grumble about my old card, but people on a HL2 forum have been suggesting the Radeon / Saphire X1950/512 (although one person mentioned that ATI support is not great at the moment. Does anyone else have any further comments / recommendations (PCIe is NOT an option unfortunately)?

Firefox plug-ins pose risk I just read this in the Pc world mag I downloaded I print screened the article read it here.

If I go into tools/clear private data and clear cookies, I will delete ALL cookies. Anyone knows where Firefox keeps the cookies at? I went into the Firefox Program folder and I didn't see a cookies sub-folder. I just want to delete the cookies to laracroftonline.com and not all of them at once!! Thanks!! ^_^

I have a question about DSL. I am supposed to get up to 6 MB DL speed but so far I downloaded at 15 MB file and it took 11 min at 32kb/sec. A Download test showed the same speed; there is a red sticker on the DSL modem that says to leave the modem on for 10 days and not turn it off even if the PC connected to it is off. I called AT&T customer service and they tell me it's going to speed up to the speed I sign up for. I think the whole thing sounds kind of peculiar; shouldn't I get the speed I paid for from day one?

Last weekend, I downloaded the demo for Tomb Raider 3's expansion pack, The Lost Artifact. I immediately noticed that the horizon's textures were acting strange. Although this particular shot is from TRII, it looked exactly like this: Obviously since I took the above from TRII, it's happening in that game, too. I've tried running both in lower compatibility settings, but that didn't seem to help at all. What's really odd is that I've played TRII all the way through once before and never encountered this issue, especially not on the first level. My view of the forum has changed. I have to scroll to read posts now and what was center now is way off to the right. Have there been some changes made and is there a way to adjust my view? My screen resolution is set @ 1024 x 768. Thanks, David

I would have my Firefox browser open and I am looking at something and I decide to minimize it and go to my desktop to either open my computer or yahoo messenger, etc etc Then I come back to the desktop and the Firefox browser is no longer minimized at the bottom of the desktop in a TAB. So I open a NEW Firefox browser and lo and behold, a few minutes later when I go back to the desktop to look at something else; that disappearing Firefox browser TAB is showing up again which means I now have TWO Firefox browser opened at the same time!! Anyone here using Firefox has experienced the same thing?

What a way to ring in the holiday season, technical problems! Anyway, this is what I get when I put in my TR4 disc: Looks like a normal configuration screen, yes? Well, it would be, if I had the game installed. I've searched my whole computer for /anything/ related to Tomb Raider 4 and promptly deleted it, hoping that I could fix the problem myself. After ridding everything TR4 related, I popped the disc back in and it was more of the same. Maybe I had uninstalled it incorrectly? Hi guys - hope someone can help me. I have a desktop pc running windows XP - Hannah has a laptop running Vista Home premium which shares a wireless internet connection with mine. (all ok so far) How can she print documents from her laptop using my printer? I have clicked on share printer etc. on my pc I have tried to add my printer (an ancient lexmark X1100) to Hannah's pc, but I don't have the installation disk, nor does her pc list my printer. I'm sure there is a simple way around this and I would appreciate any help thx guys

I had installed Legend on my PC and it worked just fine, but after my PC was in service,for a system crash, after that I trried to install the game again, but receiving massage: ERROR OUT OF TABLR RANGE' bigfile.000. Can someone explain me how to fix this? thanks, Sandra
