From bell to rope ladder
I keep hitting "X" - even though it's not needed after learning the [whatever it is] skill!

Jaguar Trial (possible spoilers)
There's a mural just past the door with the jaguar mouth, before she jumps down into the water. It does show the general route, well, sort of. I looked at it for a while and think the hindquarters of the jaguar are on the left of the picture, the spider and eagle are in the middle, the mouth/entry on the right. So the spider/eagle combination is the Incan interpretation of a xenomorph that burst out of the jaguar's chest/tummy. Only logical explanation, wouldn't you say? So Lara is going to meet one in a DLC pack. Quite probably a Predator, too, as they like jungles. Maybe even Arnie or Danny Glover. Not Sigourney Weaver, though, that would be a silly thing to suggest.

From bell to rope ladder
There are two jumps to rope ladders. For the first one you might need to hold down the jump button, in Lara-Croft-Physics-Land once she's airborne, holding the jump button keeps her airborne for longer. Possible need to press "X" (that's the Xbox button) to do a saving grab once she's got to the ladder. The second jump is the last one in the bell sequence and needs to be done quickly. Again, in Lara-Croft-Physics-Land it's possible to steer once airborne; that means don't spend much/any time lining up that jump, you should be able to get the direction about right almost immediately, then just steer a little when in the air to get centred on the rope ladder. I don't think holding the jump button is needed for this jump but it doesn't hurt. I can't remember if a saving-grab is needed for that one.

Retrieve champions bow
yes, don't hold your breath, they might get around to fixing it at some point but given the DLC schedule we can imagine what their priority is going to be for the next six months

Jaguar Trial (possible spoilers)
the digestive tract idea seems reasonable as she goes in through the mouth but then we need to think about the exit from this section and, um, well . . .

why isn't it showing 100%?
https://tombraiders.net/stella/walks/TR11walk/details/cozumel-2.html shows the bell-climbing route, hope it helps

why isn't it showing 100%?
I've just got past the trials of the three various animals with the eagle more equal than the other two. I started buying stuff from vendors (all one of them so far) before I read the stuff about the "totals" count(s). I am not holding my breath for a fix, however many Caiman's Breath skills I purchase.

patch 27th September
Any ideas what the patch I just applied does? Apparently SE haven't released notes about it so far.

why isn't it showing 100%?
Thanks for the input but no, it's not that, already done. All areas are 100%. The problem appears to be that there are two counts. Artefacts, murals and such count towards a "total count of artefacts" AND "game percentage". Guns and outfits - maybe only those that can be bought - appear to count towards the "total count of artefacts" but NOT "game percentage". The bug is that "game percentage" stops increasing when "total count of artefacts" hits a certain number, something like 332. So if you have got 332 items including outfits but are missing, say, 10 actual artefacts, the game stops adding them to "game percentage" which can not, then, reach 100%.

graphics suddenly got poor?
Someone on the official forums posted something about it. Apparently it isn't 1080 on the S or basic one, only on X is it proper HD. Bah, humbug.
-
why isn't it showing 100%?
Someone posted something on the official forum about this being related to a total number of "things" limit. Point is purchased costumes count to that limit even though they're not actually contributing to the percentage. I'm not sure it quite works out as different people post different numbers but the post contained updates stating what they'd done to test it and it does look thorough and convincing. So that's my second play-through already broken. Of course, SE are unlikely to do anything in the way they normally don't do anything, they've got their money and are currently running. Maybe in a year or two it'll work, like the deer-not-spawning problem in "Rise" which appeared to have been fixed when I tinkered with a new game a couple of weeks ago but hadn't been fixed months after it was reported. Bah, humbug, bad mood this evening.

why isn't it showing 100%?
I wonder if getting all skills blocks the 100%; maybe it shuts the menu progress at that point if you see what I mean. I might have got the final skill around the point where it stopped registering items (Kantu's vest and the artifacts) although am not very sure of that. I'll try and test it, hopefully I'll remember. I'm being very "grindy" in a replay right now, I have just beaten the second jaguar and am trying to get lots and lots of skills before progressing. So the hope is I'll remember to put the game in another save slot at an appropriate point where there's still a skill to get and a thingy to pick up and I'll see if I can get it to reproducibly fail.

Paititi Collectibles (Maybe Spoilers)
Thanks for replying - I got there eventually but thanks for the thought. Now doing it on "One with the Jungle". Bit hard at first without Eagle Vision but I've upgraded that and otherwise it's not been any different, not so far anyway. I found the two jaguar fights easier, especially the second. Could be practice I suppose, can't see that it's actually easier!

Season Pass
there's a pic showing the release on the site, basically one a month is scheduled for seven months in a row. I do not know how they'll integrate them, though I can see a few places on the map where it looks like something is going to happen

Eagle Vision
Okay, I just got "Owl's Vision" which highlights general stuff (animals, plants, etc). That's probably the thing I was wondering if it turned up, and it does.

Eagle Vision
Ah, thanks, that's helpful, I didn't use any of the herbal mixtures during the first go, except healing at one or two points so I didn't find out what any of those did. I still don't understand what focus boosting is about, I don't recall reading anything in-game to actually explain it, boost what focus? Does it increase the saving grab timers and things like that? I'm only guessing but the endurance effects presumably extend breathing underwater and reduce damage taken, is that about right?

Eagle Vision
My first go was on scaredey-cat setting. Now trying "One with the Jungle". How exactly does Eagle Vision work here? I couldn't quite understand the descriptions of the differences. So far, up to the end of Cozumel, Eagle Vision does absolutely nothing even though it can be activated. I am not even sure it does highlight waypoints but don't have the game in front of me. Does it end up being the same as on scaredey-cat setting, just needs skills to be purchased?

graphics suddenly got poor?
I just saw something that made me feel another comment on this was justified. I looked at launch trailers for SotTR and . . . well, the videos of game-play look like HD in the way I discussed above, ie, it does look like HD where what I see is not HD - the same sequences in MY game-play do not look like the launch trailer sequences. I can't be seeing 4K because I don't have 4K in the house. So why is my game-play soft-focus when the launch trailer - in HD not 4K - looks better? What am I missing? I am getting more convinced that this has been a fudge.

[rant] I absolutely certainly 100% DID press X
It certainly is difficult. Well, sort-of. For the normal or stealth bits it's okay, long, methodical, steady and so on but then you get a firefight and if you die then you go all the way back to the beginning. I am fairly good at these games but that seems too much for me! I don't like the combat side of things, like Stella. I do like stealth killing (love Hitman and Deus Ex) so maybe just stick with that in the way you wrote!

[rant] I absolutely certainly 100% DID press X
I decided to do a Deadly Obsession run. With a certain very helpful walkthrough that reminded me of a few things I didn't remember I got through the bell platform puzzle in Cozumel. Okay, Stella's second section, climb up, bats fly out, press X to keep hold to then continue and abseil down. I know there's not a lot of time but I press X VERY fast when doing jumps and the blue timer was only at six o'clock when my thumb, already hovering over X, pressed the button. What did Lara do? Fall off and die. I looked down at my thumb, it was on the X button. I don't mind if I get myself killed (he lied) as it's understandable. If you get shot by five soldiers with machine guns then dying quickly kind-of makes sense. If, though, you do what the game says and it fails, that's very annoying. Rant over. I did notice this behaviour once or twice during the first go at the game. Anyone feel the controls are a bit off? Worse than "Rise"? Still better than "Assassin's Creed", though. Any tips? Bah humbug haven't got time right now to go through it all again

Does Anyone Recognize This?
I am not completely sure what you mean. Where your map is centred doesn't have anything to collect and is inaccessible, that is where Lara's very short 'plane lands after Mexico. In your picture, there are a couple of documents marked although they are in the Tupac Shakur part of the map. Perhaps you don't have markers for the missing items because you haven't found an explorer rucksack/adventurer map that puts them there, but of course if you really have lost all the markers from the whole of that region then I don't know what you might be missing. Hope that helps!

Do Predators / Hunting Areas Respawnin SOTTR?
I should have mentioned that the 25 XP is with the Explorer outfit so is already boosted. Some animals get +10, birds get +5. Yes, bit of a grind but as I wrote a bit easier than "Rise", where I really went mad with too much time on my hands and cycled the Wilderness section before moving into the Soviet installation so much I had bought all first-level skills, probably all second-level skills and even the head-shot-lock - triple-head-shots really made many following sections so much easier, even on the hard setting.
-
why isn't it showing 100%?
Thanks for the video, Stella, it's shown that the missing items are all very late in the game. That makes me think it's connected to the broken crafting problem (Kantu's Golden Vest), something has stopped items from registering. That stated, it might not explain anyone else's problems. Regarding the golden items; the bow is Facebook, the pistol Youtube, the Rifle Twitch and the pickaxe Twitter. The shotgun (Bishop 600 - gold edition) is something I wrote about elsewhere; this page has a description of the confusion that matches my experience exactly.

Do Predators / Hunting Areas Respawnin SOTTR?
I spent quite a while shooting birds and eagles to farm XP and get money. The eagles in Tupac Shakur spawn on every visit. The jaguar in the first bit of Peru much less often and the condor even less often than that. The Empress jaguar appeared a couple of times but since then Lara just goes into a crouch and that's it. The wolves in San Juan seem to appear more or less every visit, too. Bear in mind, though, that birds give 25 xp and are so very common and very easy so that is actually the most effective way of building up XP, wood and feathers spawn all over the place. Jaguar fights much harder, very little reward, too, with eagle feathers giving more money. Much easier to get XP early in Shadow than Rise. I am assuming the above applies to harder difficulties, I've only done it on the easy setting, I'm about to commence the game at Deadly Obsession and skip the middle two.
