Done with the Ice Palace now! Got all the secrets, although the first one I only got because I peeked at Stella's because I couldn't remember how to get out of the room with the springboards & the yetis. Death by springboards! Tiger ambush Lara is causing extinctions again Oh good, I have to drop into a pitch-black, scary-looking hole... Core are mean.. Floating snowballs, ha ha ha... Run! So high up... urgh to jump off rising... Geronimo! Crunch! The giant parrot boss was surprisingly easy to beat...

Congrats I'm stuck at the beginning of the Ice Palace at the moment. I'm in that room with yetis the sproingy platform things and I can't remember what to do. There must be a switch somewhere that I'm failing to see, so guess I'll just run around a bit more and see if I can spot it...

I was all like “AAARRRGGGHHH” because I thought Lara was dead, but she landed in amongst the spikes and was perfectly fine. Ha! I think Lara is responsible for the extinction of an entire species here... Lara's ponytail is detaching again. Death by yeti! Floating Lara corpse Why does every single animal Lara encounters want to kill her? Leopard attack! I wonder what will happen if I jump on this thing... ...yeah, pretty much what I expected... Oh well... My stats: Them monks are very useful, but can be quite mean if you shoot them accidentally... For goodness sake, who puts stupid rolling cutty things in a monastery?! Monks are immune to stupid rolling cutty things. Oh look! Flares! ARGH! Well, I got all the way up here but I didn't have the thingy to put in the slot, so there's only one thing for it... Wheeeeee! Crunch! For goodness sake, who puts stupid slicey sword things in a monastery?! Dive! (there's water below, for a change). For goodness sake, who puts stupid choppy door things in a monastery?! Bonus action shots! I think I may have annoyed these monks... good thing they can't climb ladders.

That could be the unreachable med pack. I believe that in Tomb Raiders 1, 2 & 3 there's one medpack that can't be reached, which Core put in the game because they're evil. Tho I think you can reach the one in TR1 by cheating a bit, if I remember correctly. Just finished the Tibetan Foothills. Got all the secrets I love driving the snowmobile around so much, though it took me a while to get used to it again. It's not the easiest thing to steer My stats: Smash! Ooh, I spy a snowmobile! Now to get over there... Stupid icicles I'm not very good at steering this thing... Ha ha ha ha ha, driving over baddies is fun! I wonder if I can make this jump... Oops, I guess not... Crunch! Snowball smash! A psychedelic wall tile... I love the floating snowmobile gag Some action shots: Snowmobile fight! Oh dear And a few videos too, just because I love the snowmobile so much I'm having lots of fun with the snowmobile, but I'm not sure that Lara is... I'm done with The Deck, and managed to find all the secrets I've really enjoyed these underwater levels, but I'm looking forward to moving on to Tibet, and I'm especially looking forward to driving that snowmobile My stats: Two stupid divers. Grrr Ha ha ha, this is what you get for messing with Lara Croft! This stupid shark was just sitting in the underwater hole I needed to swim through and wouldn't move out of the way... ... and when I tried to shoot it with the harpoon gun, its annoying friend sneaked up behind me and chewed me up Eat grenade, stupid flame-thrower guy!

I've just finished the Living Quarters. Just The Deck to go, and then I can go and play with the snowmobile I got all the secrets this time It's too bad I only have time for one level a day during the work week; I'm really enjoying these shipwreck levels and I want to carry on. This underwater fire is always good for a laugh Stupid stinky diver! Stupid stinky barracuda! Look at all the corpses I made This is revenge for all the times I've been mercilessly gunned down I went running headlong into the dark without looking, and fell into this spike pit when I hadn't saved for a long time. I was too annoyed to even take a screenshot of Lara's dead body I do this sort of thing constantly, and the longer I haven't saved for, the higher the chance I'm going to fall off somewhere high or into something spiky.

I like those monks too Although I usually shoot one by mistake, then I have to reload because they all start trying to murder me... I'm done with the Wreck of the Maria Doria now I missed one secret again. There's always one... I must say, I like this level very much. I have a thing for abandoned and wrecked places, so I find it all very atmospheric and creepy. I love Aldwych in Tomb Raider 3 for the same reason. Very cool and creepy upside down pool: Don't you just love the way Lara bares her teeth when she's shooting at something? Ha ha ha, floating Lara... I had about a millimetre of health left, and then a stupid barracuda nibbled on my ankle and killed me So how come these bad guys can just walk through the door and Lara can't? Totally unfair, I say!

Welcome to the thread JD_Zen I've just finished 40 Fathoms. I missed one of the secrets. I know where it is, I just couldn't remember how to get to it... I drowned a few times at the beginning of the level because I couldn't remember the way into the ship. And I drowned a few times in the tall water-filled room because I couldn't find the switch to open the door at the bottom. I suck... You know what I'm going to do over here... Yep, I did it!

You're welcome Yeah, if it's telling you that the file is too big just resize it. If you need an image editing program, I recommend Irfanview.

Yeah, it's easy to overshoot when jumping from a high ledge to a lower one. I tend to be careful about making running jumps from high platforms to lower ones. lol, it's not really worth it, is it? You don't even get to see the explosion. Ah well, I did it because that's what you're supposed to do. Very nice I just went and tried it myself I'm done with the Diving Area now. I only managed to find one secret My goodness, this is an extremely long ladder. AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! This chop snuck up behind me and set me alight while I was killing some dogs. lol, I know the feeling of missing stuff. I distinctly remember being badly stuck in TR2 the first time I played, and giving up out of despair and going to look at the walkthrough, only to find that I'd missed a very obvious switch on the wall I must say that the flying boat thing is one of my favourite bits of the game too Done with the Offshore Rig now, and found all the secrets this time. I got stuck at one point, but found that I'd missed an obvious switch on the wall. Again. lol. This propeller that kills Lara without touching her amuses me. I'm not really supposed to be up on top of the aeroplane without having switched the propeller off, but it's so easy to get there I can't resist messing around with it. Oh I really hate these diver guys Mostly because I have to use the spear-gun to fight them and I hate using the spear-gun. I prefer trying to lure them up to the surface so I can climb out of the water and blast them with my pistols On to the Diving Area next!

I've finished Bartoli's Hideout now. I missed one secret because I can't for the life of me remember where it is, and I'm far too lazy to go back and look for it. I'm on 73 saves now. Floating dead bad guys are always good for a laugh Next it's the Opera House. This level gave me quite a bit of trouble the first time I played, so I hope I remember how to do it ok. So far I've remembered everything fairly well, and haven't gotten very badly stuck anywhere.

No, Lara can't crouch in TR1 or TR2; she only gains that ability in TR3 (along with the ability to sprint). Good going on not using any medipacks, EldinSuper. I don't have the patience for that, so I use a lot of medipacks

yeah, I have this problem too. I constantly forget that there are no checkpoints, so I die and I haven't saved for ages. It can be quite annoying really, lol. I'm done with Venice now. My stats: I think I'll wait until tomorrow before starting the next level. Destroying stuff is fun! Blowing up bad guys up is also fun!

The board hasn't been accepting my pictures when I've been trying to add attachments either. I'll see if any of the admins know if there's a bug with uploading content at the moment.

Thanks! I had to use half a medipack because I am rubbish at negotiating the gauntlet of death bit without getting mangled by all the traps. It's a rather mean thing to put in the first level... I'm on Venice at the moment, not doing too badly, gotten two of the secrets. I think I remember where the third is, but I'm not entirely sure

I was thinking the same thing It seems like overkill to use guns to kill spiders, but man are those some tough spiders. Yeah, that's quite a common problem. If you're on XP, right-click on the shortcut you use to launch the game (either on the desktop or on the start menu), select "properties" and go to the "compatibility" tab. Then tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 98/Windows ME" and click OK. In most cases this fixes the crashing problem (it did for me when I had exactly the same issue). Windows 7 has the same option, and I'd imagine that Vista does too, though I've not tried running the game under either of them.
