There's something wrong with my ability to take screenshots too - the game crashes every time I try to use the screenshot key that's built into TR3, so I use Fraps instead. I just have to be careful not to hit the ' key by mistake while I'm playing or I get kicked out of the game.

Eidos have confirmed that they are developing the Anniversary Edition http://corporate.sci.co.uk/Press_Releases/..._Release_ID=222 but they haven't officially said anything else about it. We don't even know for absolute sure that it is a re-make of TR1, although that seems to be the accepted theory.

Just finished The Nevada Desert My stats: and I'm on 131 saves. This sign in the level made the X-Files nerd in me squee with delight when I saw it for the first time. Oh, I do love running stuff over with the quad bikes I held action down too long while exiting the level and caused the textures to mess up again. Heh heh

I think the only way to take screenshots on a PS2, other than using a camera like AJ suggested, is if you have a video capture card in your PC. I googled for it, and this is about the most useful thing I came up with.

If you have access to a digital camera you could always take a picture of it. The quality won't be as good, but people without scanners have done that before.

If you don't have it already, you should download Irfanview and use that to paste screenshots into instead of using Paint. It's a very good programme, very easy to use.

I'm quite undecided myself now that I know there's not going to be anything new. I was going to get it, but now I think that just re-playing AoD would be vastly more entertaining. Perhaps I'll wait to see what other people who get it have to say about it.

Hey LegendRaider, I've moved your thread to our new TR8 board I also read that somewhere a while ago, but I can't remember where either. It may have been a magazine scan somewhere. Most likely TR8 will continue from where Legend left off, and I suppose we'll find out properly what happened to Lara's mother.

Maybe one of the segments you downloaded is corrupted, or didn't finish downloding properly... Since it stopped at 40%, you could try re-downloading the fourth section and see if that helps.

If you have the PC version of AoD, you can download cheat programmes to get the dual pistols. There's also some cheat disc you can get for the PS2 that I think you could also use to get the two pistols, but I don't have a PS2 so I'm not absolutely sure about that.

Well, since Raek is finished with The River Ganges, I figured I'd go ahead and catch up with him I do love driving that quadbike around Got all the secrets again, and I'm on 91 saves. Running over monkeys is fun! The next level is that annoying maze one, so I think that like Raek I'll give it a rest until some of the other players have caught up. I would like some other people doing it at the same time in case I need a little guidance TR3 is very good, I love it The gameplay is completely different to Legend though (the controls are similar to the controls in AoD, but not so difficult to use), and the game engine is very dated, but I think it hold up fairly well.

If you want to know if you get dual pistols with infinite ammo in AoD, the answer is no. You were supposed to be able to have dual-pistols, but Core messed up and it was left out of the game.

Did you pull the glass cabinet on the right-hand side of the Mona Lisa painting, and push the glass cabinet in front of the painting so that it's closer to the painting? You should turn off the lasers and immediately roll Lara and run to the cabinet in front of the painting. Jump up and take a running jump off the edge to grab the vent above the Mona Lisa. You need to be careful where Lara jumps from; too soon and she won't grab the ledge, too late and she will fall off the edge and you'll have to wait for to lasers to re-set to try again.

I'm not quite sure where you are... are you talking about the lasers that are around the Mona Lisa painting?

Well, I've just finished the Temple Ruins. Got all the secrets this time I remember this room giving me a lot of trouble the first time I played the game. I recall constantly falling into the water and having the greatest difficulty lining jumps up. It's so easy now though. And this room, I remember hammering on my keyboard in frustration and constantly dying the first time I played TR3 Yay, quadbike level next!
