I'm going to be finishing with Area 51 sometime in the next two days. Is everyone wanting to go the the South Pacific, or does somebody want to go to London with me?

#1) I play TR on PC. #2) Tell us about how you came across TR for the first time. A friend of mine showed me a game he was playing called Tomb Raider 3. There was a woman in a kayak, and he made her drive the kayak through spikes and she died. I though that was too cool and he made me a copy of the game. The rest is history... #3) TR 3 was the first TR game I played. #4) TR 3 was the first TR game I passed. #5) Name your top 3 favorite TR games. Hmmm... TR1, TR2 and TR3 #6) Which TR game was your least favorite? Why? TR5: Chronicles because it was short, and I didn't like the game being split up into different stories. #7) TR 1 was the easiest for me becasue It was simpler than the other TR games, and by the time I played it I had already played TRs 2, 3, 4 and 6 so I was quite experienced, TR-wise. #8) TR 3 was a challenge for me becasue it was the first TR I played and I sucked at it slightly. #9) How often did you have to use a walkthrough/stratedgy guide? Constantly for TR3, but not very often for the other games. Mainly I look at walkthoughs to find out how to get past boss battles. #10) Were you always on the hunt and look out for the TR secrets? I always looked out for likely places where secrets might be hidden but I was never very good at finding them #11) Pierre or Larson Larson! #12) TR ____ was the creepiest and often made me jump. Well, I don't know which game is the creepist, because they all make me jump. I think that TR1 makes me jump the most, because in the PC version there's no background music. So it's just creepy background noise and the sound of Lara's footsteps. So I get quite immersed in the atmosphere, and then when something jumps on me unexpectedly I get a huge fright #13) Which TR game was the one that you enjoyed playing the most? Why? I really enjoyed TR3. It was my first, and I wish I could get back that feeling of playing TR for the very first time. I also enjoy AoD immensely because of all the bugs. #14) The hardest level in TR1 was The Great Pyramid because of that giant mutant thing you have to kill. #15) The hardest level in TR2 was probably that one with the dragon because I kept getting fried. #16) The hardest level in TR3 was Aldwych because I couldn't figure out how to pass the level and I started freaking out because I was trapped underground . #17) The hardest level in TR4 The Last Revelation was the Catacombs because of that rope-swinging bit. #18) The hardest level in TR5 Chronicles was the bit with the VCI Headquarters because the levels sucked and were buggy. #19) The hardest level in TR6 The Angel of Darkness was Boaz Returns because Kurtis is slow and doesn't listen to me!!!!!!. #20) The hardest level in TR7 Legend was __________ because _________. I don't remember any bits in TR:L giving me horrific difficulty, except for one bit where you come out of a cut-scene with a boulder about to smash Lara. Lara kept getting smashed...

According to this article at GameSpot the PS3 will be compatible with PS1 and PS2 games, but that they are having problems with games that don't follow the TRC (Technical Requirement Check) guidelines provided by SCE, so there will be games that won't be compatible.

Yeah we went into the Chamber Live when I was there. It was quite fun. The walk of fame thing sounds quite good, that wasn't there when I went. When we went my sister got caught out by the guy pretending to be a waxwork model. She was staring at him intently trying to figure who he was supposed to be, when he suddenly lifted his arms up and shouted. She jumped quite high in the air

Unfortunately the audio on the PC version of TRL doesn't work that way, and I can't seem to find anything on the 'net that would allow the audio to be extracted from the TRL files.

Thanks for the pics LM - looks like you had a great time. I loved Madame Tussauds when I went. They had a waxwork model of a photographer aiming a camera at a waxwork model of some random celebrity. It was too funny to stand and watch every one jumping out of the way so they wouldn't mess up the "photographer's" shot

I'm right at the end of Area 51 now, but I'm waiting until people have caught up and decided where everyone wants to go next before ending the level.

Does anyone know if there's a way to change the keyboard shortcut keys for Firefox? I sometimes want to use Windows Alt key codes while I'm using Firefox, but when it try it switches tabs on me.

I like London too, even though it drove me extremely nuts the first time I played. Maybe that's why like it - it's the strongest memories I have of the first time I played TR3 I've finished the High Security Compound My stats: and I'm on 160 saves. That "No photography" sign in The Nevada Desert made the X-Files nerd in me very happy, but these boxes with "MJ-12" on them absolutely delighted me. I don't see how it can be improved from the original, considering that it's just a recording of someone playing the game that's been put onto a DVD. I could do that, if I had the time, inclination, and enough pirated software It probably won't be worth buying, in the end. I was quite excited about it at first and was going to buy it as soon as it was released, but now I think I'll wait to see what other people have to say about it.

I've done some investigating, and I've found that I can change the resolution in this level by changing the settings in the Tomb Raider level editor.
