Happy New Year 2018 Morphie and everyone. We made it!!

We don't. For 7 years and 2 months to 10 years and 8 months, they been going to night night at 9 pm sharp every night, smooth as clockwork.

Small town boy Billy Peltzer only wanted to have a quiet Christmas with his family and his girlfriend, Kate. Instead he and Kate are fighting for their very lives in an effort to save Christmas from the town's Lady Scrooge and a horde of rude creatures, both hell bent on destroying everything that's pure and wonderful about Christmas. After all, who doesn't love the spending Holidays with Gizmo and Woof Woof? 5/5

Glad y'all had a good Christmas and gotten lots of prezzies! That tree is now on the curb as of late last night. The city is picking up Christmas trees starting today to recycle them. Misty and Patches were still pouncing on the tree as it was being carried and dragged out of the house. We took down all the decorations and lights on Tuesday and let them kitties play with the tree and sleep in it for 3 days. I woke up in the middle of the night the other night and both furballs were sleeping in the tree, stretched out and perched across couple of branches. That couldn't had been comfy for them.

They had so many prezzies from Santa!! Zia Cat (Zia means Aunt, Cat is Caterina, my sister) came to visit and she brought them more prezzies. I swear if I didn't know better, my own sister is trying to spoil my children! We also had a big tree! Our first Christmas tree in our new home (we moved in on October 26th, the other one was starting to get small): I had to stay up every night for 2 weeks keeping watch over the tree, if I didn't, the 2 kitties will attack it! How was your and your family's Christmas, Morphie?

Watching the I, Tonya movie about Tonya Harding. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5580036/ She grew up with an over bearing demanding drunk alcoholic mother who started abusing her physically and mentally as young as 7 years old. Her father was never around. Her very first boyfriend when she was 15, Jeff Gillooly, who will later become her husband was also abusive. Still, you can't blame her surroundings and peers and forgive her for attacking Nancy Kerrigan in 1994. She is as guilty as the person, Shane Stant, who yielded the the ASP baton used in the attack: in fact, Tonya and her bodyguard Shawn Eckhardt and by then, her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly hired Stant to attack Kerrigan. I will always remember Tonya for attacking Nancy Kerrigan and for this: What a drama queen! 23 years later, Tonya is still a drama queen: She has never apologized to Nancy Kerrigan: I have to say that not only has Nancy aged much better than Tonya... She can dance too:

Lethal Weapon (1987) 2nd Best Christmas movie ever made next to Die Hard. How is this a Christmas movie, you ask? Look how many times they said Merry Christmas! Can you believe this movie is 30 years old already? 5/5 I still have one more "Best Christmas movie ever made" [next to Die Hard and Lethal Weapon] I will be watching this week and will report back. p.s. The girl that jumped to her death at the beginning is played by the same actress who went on to play Kelly Gaines, Woody Harrelson's girlfriend in Cheers. Imagine that! She did her own jump stunt. That's actually a large airbag with the cars and curb and pavement painted on it.

Merry Christmas, Morphie! Lucky You! Christmas comes to you 16 hours ahead of us! I have to survive another 20 hours of Is It Christmas yet? LOL!

Justice League (2017) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0974015/ A messy incoherent confusing cacophony of noise and over use of CGI and SFX featuring a villain that never once in the film's nearly 2 hours running time made me fear the world was at risk. Another celluloid failure by director Zack Snyder, who hasn't directed anything worthwhile and watchable since "300" and "Sucker Punch" The only reason I would recommend this movie is to watch the beautiful and awesome Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. 1/5

I saw this preview trailer today in front of the Star Wars movie. I am not into Japanese manga. Couldn't even tell you which ones are popular or famous or even name half a dozen of them, etc. But this looks interesting.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2527336/ Because there are folks who hasn't seen it, I am not posting a detailed review saying what I think everything that's wrong with this movie. In due time, in a couple of weeks or so, when the hoopla has died down and most everyone had a chance to watch it in theaters, then I will post a detailed review. For now, all I can say is I give it 1/5 and a NO, I can't recommend it even to the Star Wars Fanboys and Fangirls who just want to see anything new with a Star Wars label on it.

In 4 hours and we will be going to see the new Star Wars movie.

I'll watch it on Tuesday and report back.

My umpteenth viewing of the Best Christmas movie ever made and also quite possibly the most perfect flawless action movie ever made!! Die Hard (1988) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095016/ NYPD officer John McLane only wanted to spend Christmas with his wife and beloved children but a bunch of terrorists want to ruin his plans. That is the problem with terrorists. They're really inconsiderate when it comes to people's schedules. 5/5 Next on my Best Christmas movies viewing list: Lethal Weapon
