Not much was left of these so I figured I grab the Hot Wheels Elite Ecto 1A before the Elite Ecto 1. Now I don't know if there will be renewed interest in acquiring these particular models, what with the upcoming Ghostbusters 3, so I figured, what the heck... Since I don't yet have the Ecto 1 (I've since received the Ecto 1 which I will cover in another post to follow), I've nothing to compare this to where the differences are concerned but we all know that a revamped Ghostbuster car was done for the movie sequel. There is the obvious added ghost busting items on the rack. The one concern that Hot Wheels addressed in the Ecto 1A was the addition of the Proto Packs on the gurney which was absent in their Elite Ecto 1 model much to the dismay of die hard collector fans. One thing I didn't address in the video below was the amazing photo-etched wipers which gives this model a very realistic edge. The wheels are rubber. The one highlight that impressed me a lot was the detail that was brought into the engine. Much like the wiring found on Hot Wheels' Elite 1:18 DeLorean, the wirings found under the Ecto 1A's hood is not molded plastic but flexible plastic tube wirings. Very impressive to say the least!

Hey all, thought I'd like to share with you my other hobby, which I am picking up again but not on a regular basis. I say this because like my lightsaber hobby, this die cast car collecting can get, and is, very expensive. To this end, I'm picky as to what car I collect. Since this will be BTTF's 30th Anniversary, I thought it would be apt for me to finally get that elusive DeLorean time machine I've always wanted ever since I saw it on the small screen... Yup small screen since I, for some reason or other, totally missed BTTF's original theatrical run. After watching numerous video reviews of the DeLorean made by 3 toy companies, I settled for Hot Wheels' Elite 1:18 scale version. While it certainly has it pros and cons where certain details are concerned when compared to Sun Star's and Diamond Select's versions, this Hot Wheels Elite version can't be beat in build and detail quality. This die cast car's body is brushed metal. The wipers are photo-etched for a very realistic look. The tires are rubber and sports the Goodyear GT mark unlike the other two brands. The steering wheel turns and the wheels react accordingly. The wires that run along the car and on the trunk are not molded plastic, rather, are real and are coiled ever so neatly. And as a nice touch, Mr. Fusion can be opened.

I for one feel betrayed even though I'll have access to the game on PC. A whole year for PS4 gamers?

I'm impressed with some of the new action/fight moves. I'm looking forward to this one.

I finally finished Bioshock Infinite --- a year and some 3 months later --- and the ending sorta confused me so I had to look it up. Interesting ending... those who have finished have to stay and watch the end scene after the credits. It really wraps up some questions you may have before this particular scene is shown...

Kelly's Heroes

Ok. Played a bit and solved some rudimentary puzzles as a way of slowly introducing us to the game's gameplay mechanics. No manuals so I had to experiment quite a bit with the icons onscreen. Found out early on regarding April's fate.... Movement is your basic WASD or, if anyone has played SWKotOR, movement is also controlled with the mouse by pressing the right button to walk, and pressing the left and right buttons simultaneously to run. That's it for now. If it were not for the fact that I have a dentist appointment first thing this morning, I'd stay up longer to continue playing, lol.. oh well.

Okay, I've forgotten about this until I saw a link to this game and guess what....... Dreamfall Chapters: Book 1 is now out! I'm downloading the game from Steam as I type this. All other games I'm playing right now will be put on hold. 8 years of waiting...8 years ago of seeing Zoe falling into a coma and April getting shot and possibly killed?... Yeah, I'm happy EDIT: Downloaded! later folks!

Anyway, back on topic, these words: "... we have just announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider, coming holiday 2015, is exclusively on Xbox." "coming holiday 2015" seems to be a qualifier indicating that Rise of the Tomb Raider will only exclusively launch on Xbox during the holiday of 2015, and afterwards, ie. after the 2015 holiday, Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on other platforms at a later period. What do you guys think? Is this actually then, a timed exclusive?

Holy smokes! Those guys on FB are ripping into CD big time --- not that I blame them of course. And yes James, pray tell, what did you post there? Stella's petition is going up quite quickly. In just a matter of minutes, from when I began posting this, it went from 7939 to 7957.

I just read this too.... Very disappointed with this development. I for one will not be purchasing an XBox1 in order just to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. Not sure if I'm going to pick up Temple of Osiris yet.... EDIT Definitely not picking up Temple of Osiris. Heck, I didn't even play Guardian of light.

Love to see what they have in store for this next installment. Now should I get it for PC or PS4?

Necropost... Finally got me a copy and started playing it. I'm still early on in (passed the part where Tess is.......) But that intro beginning really gets you from the get-go doesn't it?

Naughty Dog have announced Uncharted 4 for PS4 with a teaser trailer. In typical fashion it’s loaded with clues and possible story hints. Not least of which is are the 4 marks scratched on a skull and a range of pirate references.
