Yes, lol. My vote would go for the PS4 and PC. But it'll be over a year before I actually get the former --- it's always good to wait so the kinks can get ironed out; I did the same for the PS3.

Loyalty, A Star Wars Fan Film *LCC XI Winner

Finally got Bioshock Infinite, used. Just started it last night. After a bit of exploration, I finally got into my first gun fight. Not really much to say at this point but I do have high expectations for this game having played Bioshock a few years ago which was brilliant. One need not play the first game in order to play this third installment. I incidentally purchased the PS3 version and little did I know that this copy also includes the original Bioshock. Sweet! I'll be playing this again after finishing Bioshock Infinite and see how gameplay compares to the PC version I played years ago.

Have not been gaming much but when I do, my platform of choice is the PC and the PS3. The last time I gamed on the X360 was playing Halo 4 and Mass Effect 3. As I see it right now, PS4 is my choice of console when and if the time comes.

Just replace 8 with 7 as many have been doing. 8 is a joke! As for the topic at hand, I'm on the fence on this. I'm all in it for single-player gaming only and not all those other features that are being offered. Most likely wait a whole year before I finally decide, or if I decide, to get either the new Xbox or PS4, as I did with the previous generation.

I was never one for zombies in games but the manner in which Naughty Dog incorporated these into the larger context of this game where story is paramount, will no doubt make me go out and buy this game. Any one else get a hold of this yet, and if so, what are your (initial) impressions of it thus far? The Last of Us is receiving numerous positive reviews.

I was looking forward to 1313.... It looked very promising based on the gameplay video and the techies that they were employing in the game, such as ILM.

Other than the crashes with the 3 graphic options enabled mentioned above, the game ran flawlessly. Unfortunately, even with the latest game build update, v1.00.722.3, the game still crashed with those 3 graphic options enabled. I noticed however that there is a beta driver update, 314.21, available for download http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-314.21-beta-driver.html (this link is for WN 7 64-bit OS since I have this particular install. One will have to backtrack to choose appropriate driver for respective OS version and install). According to the notes, it will improve, among other things, performance and stability in Tomb Raider. I'm going to wait until this driver is certified and then, and only then will I apply this latest driver. EDIT: UPDATE The new beta driver fixed the tessellation crash as reported here: http://kotaku.com/5991138/hooray-tomb-raiders-pc-version-is-now-way-less-crash+tastic May have to reconsider waiting for the certified version so I can replay the game with all graphics maxed out....

Nope, no problems. My CPU and graphic cards are top of the line, especially my vid card.

The latest patch is v 1.00.711.3. I haven't yet tried enabling V-Sync, Tesselation and Exclusive Full Screen with this latest patch, though I'll do this after posting this and give it a go. Everything's up-to-date. I still awaiting the new driver for the vid card that's for sure to come. You have nice PC specs btw. Should run the game flawlessly if your not affected with the bugs that is.

Yup. I believe Shrensh is already on her second round of playing TR. I honestly couldn't stop playing save having to eat, sleep and go to work. I played well into the early hours of the morning lol.

The latest version is 1.00.718.4. This is not by all means, a final patch. The game will still crash if you don't disable V-Sync, Tesselation and Exclusive Full Screen. I don't think this latest patch addresses this particular crash issue. Even when patched , I tried enabling each individually and the game still crashes.

If I'm not mistaken, that upgrade occurs on your way to the Endurance. You get this upgrade after having a boss fight on the boat.

I finished the game about 1/2 an hour ago at 75%. Although short, this was epic gameplay thanks in large part to the cinematic-like storytelling nature of the game a la Uncharted.

Okay, the next time I play will be entering the monastery --- going after Sam and Whitman. Gotta sleep now; want to continue playing but I have to be up in 3 hours time. Hehe, reminds me of the old days were I'd pull an all-nighter just to finish a game
