You'd be able to surf the internet fine, yes, but you wouldn't be able to just install Windows games and play them. You'd have to get some sort of emulator to allow them to run. I've never used Linux myself, but I know one or two people who have, so I could try to find out a bit more information if you're serious about switching.

Ugh, I hate stupid rude customers who think they're the funniest things ever. When you saved your project, did you use File, Save Project? You have to save your video in a different way if you want to play it back. Make sure that the Movie Tasks pane is displayed down the left side of the screen (you can display it by going to View and selecting Task Pane). Click on Save to my Computer in the Task Pane, and then you can choose the location in which you would like to save the video and you can specify what filesize you would like the video to be. It'll be saved in .wmv format.

Do you want to convert a file from wmv to another format? You can do that with the site I linked. You can convert to many different types with that site, including mov, avi, mpg and flv.

The person doesn't say what issue this information is supposed to be in, but it was posted one day ago at IMDb so I assume it's whatever the most recent issue is.

That information got added to the Wikipedia Legend article, but was then reverted because it was apparently false. Would anyone happen to have an actual copy of PC Powerplay Magazine to confirm if it does actually say this?

FYI, for UK people, the Anniversary Edition is also at HMV and Game for £17.99 for the PC version (the PS2 version seems to be going everywhere for £29.99).

What happens when you click on "Room Editor" under "Tools"? The Room Editor is what you use to build levels.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but how it looks will depend on how you edit the video. The ones I've made and stuck together have small jumps where I've joined them together, but not very noticeable.

Yeah, that's what I do; I just stick together different recordings using Movie Maker. It's pretty easy to do.

Oh, I see what you mean. You can't tape more than 30 seconds with the free version of Fraps. If you want to make a longer recording you'll have to pay to register it.

So Legend arrived on the day then? Cool I'll probably end up ordering off Play.com then. A friend of mine had a very bad experience with pre-ordering online once though. He ended up getting the game he ordered a month after everyone else got it Amazon.com does have this Strategy Guide, which is a bit strange since they don't have the game from pre-order yet The strategy guide is set for a May release. Gamestop does have the Anniversary Edition though, also for a May release.

The number in the corner counts what the FPS is that the game is running at, I think, not the rate at which the video is being captured. Which game are you trying to capture video from? TRs 2 and 3 don't work terribly well with Fraps; it makes the games run very slowly so you'll have to turn the resolution all the way down if you want to record anything from them. I see you don't have a hotkey set for video capture. Have you tried making a video yet?

I'm torn about whether I should order it online or not... It may be cheaper online, but if it doesn't arrive on the Friday that game is released I'm going to be sitting around going nuts the whole weekend while all the other UK-ers who got it from shops will be playing. If I go to a shop I know I get it on the day it's released but it's more expensive. Decisions, decisions...
