Oh yeah, I sincerely wish they would make Windows 8 more friendly to desktop users. I'm going to be getting a new gaming PC sometime next year, and I'm not looking forward to having to deal with that silly touchscreen user interface if I get a Win8 machine.

Microsoft doesn't care about you if you don't have a broadband internet connection. Really, they seem to be making a deliberate effort to annoy as many as people as possible at this point. Not exactly. It needs to be able to check into the Microsoft servers once a day - so if your internet connection goes down for more than 24 hours, you can't play your games. You also need to have an active internet connection before you can run a game for the first time, I think. Pretty rubbish - if I were a console gamer I'd definitely go for a PS4 instead of an Xbox

There are two puzzles - one with a skull and one with a jaguar head. Have a look at the map in the walkthrough - you need to pick up the jaguar head near where you entered the level. The calendar puzzle for it is opposite the skull calendar puzzle.

Are you here? When you jump toward the other side of the plane, Lara should automatically grab hold, and cause the plane to shift. What's happening when you jump across? Is Lara not grabbing hold?

If you are where I think you are, you don't need any more parts for the bow. Just stand next to the pole, aim at the rope-covered object on the other side of the gap, and press the alternate-fire button.

Make sure you aren't pressing the melee key too soon - wait for the rings to converge and the exclamation mark to appear, and then press melee once. If you need to reset the game, there's a "Last Campsite" save option in the load game menu that'll send Lara back to the last campsite you used.

Is there a quest marker above any of the fast travel camps? Also, whereabouts are you in the game, what platform are you playing on, and have you downloaded all the updates?

I'd be up for some AoD gameplay and some chat. I don't think my shared internet connection would be up to livestreaming, but I would thoroughly enjoy watching other people play Don't know if I'll be free, but if I am I'm up for a bit of fun

The Shantytown map is just for multi-player. The only DLC you can use in single player are the three skins, the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer, and the various skill/weapons upgrades you can buy (which aren't much use as you can fully upgrade everything by the end of the game anyway). The only DLC map that's single player is the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer. If you're unsure, go to the Steam store page for the specific piece of DLC and it'll tell you there if it's for multi-player only

What platform are you playing on, and have all the patches been installed? When you go and look at the fast travel locations, is there a location with a quest marker above it?
