  1. ooops I must try harder next time !! Your score is: 91%. Questions answered correctly first time: 8/12 Thanx guys for posting
  2. While trying to access area's in Legend that Lara's not supposed to go - I've been trying to jump up onto anything and everything... whilst doing this I found that Lara can stand on top of Winston the butler: Then I found whilst playing Nepal, by using the Excalibur "cheat" you can Blast the door from the OUTSIDE - unfortunately you cannot enter through the "open door" but it does let you see inside ! I did encounter the Bug in the Gym area where Lara climbs on an invisable pole (the semi-circular one that she grapples to make verticle and then horisontal again) but as yet I haven't been able to repeat it to take a screenshot. Then I also found that using Excalibur you can "kill" or at least make disappear the "Unknown Entity" and I found I got permanently stuck in the room with the big gun with all 4 sphere's in position with an amazing lightening show all around - I haven't played that to try it again - but I will try to get some screenshots if I can manage to get stuck again ! (the reason you get stuck is you can't grapple the piece of sword to trigger the cutscene and escape through the floor)
  3. YAY I've taken another hour over those 4 that I couldn't get and I've finally completed it ! I can now go to bed a happy man LOL - Thanx again was a good challenge !! LOL And thanx to Larsonsmother for that wonderful clue - Cheeky !!!
  4. WOW Shrensh lol - I've been on it two hours... I'm stuck on: 6 across, 19 across, 24 across and 27 across ! That's all I need to complete !! Thanx for posting BPanther & Raekwon great crossword !
  5. Yep I played TR1 10 years ago in November 1996 too (Hooked ever since) and have played and completed (oh how the walkthroughs have been a godsend over the years ) them all in order.
  6. Looks fantastic - Far Cry is a great game it's one of my fav's so I'll def be downloading the mod level
  7. The guy had obviously played that level over and over, he knew how to scale up and down those platforms with such ease !! (how many times did I make Lara fall to her death on those !!) And even now I think I've only managed once, to get to the "secret" that's at the very bottom through the door that opens when you stand on a "pressure pad" at the top of the platforms (you have like 5 seconds to descend to the bottom before the door closes) a very dedicated player indeed.. I'm not too keen on the "level skipping" shortcuts though - what's the point in missing half the game ? ..... I'm going to have to see what time it takes me to do the level 8 mins ? pfffft more like 8 hours for me lol
  8. On page 192 of the Piggyback Interactive Legend Guide there is a little section titled "the Long Wait Begins..." In which Morgan Gray of Crystal Dynamics tantilizingly answers: Q: Can we safely assume that another episode (TR8) is already being planned ? A: " I would think there's a certain amount of safety to assume" Q: Any clues as to what players can expect ? A: " The hint that I would give is that we (CD) would never do a cliffhanger ending if we didn't intend to resolve it...."
  9. I'm with you on this one again Purple - England for me was the biggest level with the 3 distinct areas, it was almost like 3 mini levels in one !
  10. Definitely the Sea Serpent in England - mainly due to me panicing and not aiming the grapple correctly especially on the bridge bit !! That's closely followed by Bolivia Redux - Amanda combined with the Unknown Entity - but at least in that bit there are things to hide behind !!
  11. Yeah I would make him faster too !!! Whilst watching the film Blade Trinity - It suddenly struck me that the character "Hannibal King" was very similar to Kurtis Trent.... Ok so the character played by actor Ryan Reynolds had lighter hair and more or a sense of humour than our Kurtis... But if ever there was a dead ringer for Kurtis Trent - he'd get my vote !! What do you guys think ?
  12. Snowmobile & Quadbike for me - I liked the fact that you could get off them and have a look around and explore the areas... Although the Kayak was a little hard to control I thought that the raging river and scenery were fantastic in that level so I enjoyed that too. The speedboat was also cool in Tr2 especially the bit when you had to get enough speed to fly up the ramp and crash through the bridge to the other side...WhoooHoooo!!!! And though the motorbike in Legend was wayyy to sensitive I enjoyed that too - though it's such a relief when it's over - I don't know what that's like to control with a console but on the PC it makes your fingers ache Big-Time !! I'd have liked that bit in Legend not to be a race to catch the train though coz it would have been nice to get off the bike and have a look around especially at the burning bridge bit (it would have been cool if Lara could have beaten the other bikers there and set up a trap to blow them up on the bridge) But with the exception of the underwater upv thing (I don't like Lara underwater at the best of times - it makes me panic !!) I think I have enjoyed all the vehicles in the games.... Andy
  13. Great shots Lara Man - wow what happened to Lara on the "Do me a favour and check your PDA" shot !!!!!! Something on it must have been "eye popping" lol
  14. You obviously know more about PC's than me but I have found Panda Antivirus better than Norton and Mcafee for eliminating nasties from my Pc... Click HERE for an online Activescan to see if it eliminates it (ya never know it's worth a try !) Good Luck Andy
  15. hiya rjulia, In the Uk Tomb Raider Legend has been given a 12+ rating. This is due to the mild violence (shooting etc that is the same for all Tomb Raider games) and some very mild swearing "Bloody Hell" and "(wolf) piss" is the extent of the swearing. There are no themes of a sexual nature in the game, and no nudity. Legend's theme is no different from the previous Tomb Raider games in my opinion, and your son will enjoy playing it. Not quite sure what the "suggestive themes" is referring to, but there is nothing that stands out that is any different from the previous Tomb Raider games. You can also visit HERE for the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) guide to their game ratings. Hope this has helped. Best Wishes Andy.
