I'm partway through the Lost Valley. I got all the way up to the velociraptor/t-rex part, but then I felt like I went too fast and missed something. I broke down and checked Stella's walkthrough. I missed an important pickup...duh. Not to mention a couple of health packs. I guess I need to just take my time, lol. Tomorrow I'm off, so I hope to tackle the really scary part. I'm loving this game!!!!!

I finished the Manor the other day, and now I'm partway through the first level. I have 2 out of 3 artifacts. I use walkthroughs if I'm stuck, usually, but I'm determined on this one to do it w/o reading unless I'm totally desperate! I've also avoided all spoiler or hints threads, which is absolutely driving me crazy, lol. I hope to get some more playing time in on my days off this weekend. It looks amazing so far!! I'm really happy with the graphics, and excited to finish it. Oh, and note to the morbid (a.k.a Shrensh): I dropped Lara off a cliff twice. Poor thing just crumpled up on the cavern floor. I don't think her limbs were meant to go that way! Sorry I don't have any screenies (PS2)...but it sure is nice to be playing TR again, lol.

I got it!!! Gamestop has the PS2 version finally!! The guy was like, 'would you like anything else?' Lol, like I'd buy anything else today.

All the Gamestops in my area are sold out. Which stinks, because there's 4 w/in 20 min. and about 8 w/in a 1/2 hr-45 min. away. I knew I should have preordered...I was even in there last week. *Kicks self*

In my opinion, there are 2 main reasons why people don't look out for each other anymore: They're worried about retaliation or They believe the authorities won't be effective (like in what you mentioned, Raek) We've had a lot of fighting & yelling/cursing at the library where I work. Yes, I said yelling in the library, lol. Twice I've been involved in calling the cops, the second being tonight. The first time was about a stolen bike, which falls outside our 'liability'. I tried to be helpful, and it just ended up with the kid wanting another kid's name so she & her friends could track down who she thought stole the bike. Yeah, my boss loved that one. Tonight, we had kids fighting, cursing, and yelling...my boss called the cops for me (finally), and when they caught the kid who started it (he ran, of course), he said he was just playing. Sure, "I'm going to just wait here till he comes out and then I'll get him"...is what he said to me when we kicked him out. The cops let him go. Great...he'll be back. And who's he going to be mad at??? Still, all in all, I think it's better to get involved. I'm keeping my hope that someone will get helped that way. I use the police as the last resort...but waiting in the library doorway to jump a kid is more than even the nicest person should take. Sorry everyone, I'm done.

I've seen him in Wings, the movie George of the Jungle (there's a scene with him and a gorilla you've just got to see!), and some bit parts in other movies, although I see Hardkore provided the link, lol. I like him -- he's funny! It's because I find him so hilarious that I couldn't picture him as a "villian" type. Thanks for the link, Hardkore! I agree, j7...it's just not the same without Arnold. I'm not a huge Arnold fan, really, but he just made the whole Terminator image, and I can't see having someone else star in it.

I just saw Spiderman 3 today. I disagree that it was a letdown, Hardkore. For me, it was the best Spiderman yet. I enjoyed the whole emo thing, along with the comedy, but I just like humor, I guess. I do agree about Venom's bit being too short. I expected him to have a longer part of the story. The effects were done fairly well, including the Sandman scenes. At first Thomas Hayden Church (sp?) seemed to be an odd choice for Sandman, since I've mainly seen him do spoofs and comedies, but he fit well. On a side note, we took the whole family, and were annoyed that the theater's sound cut out in a scene where Spidey's getting the key to the city. Fortunately, it means all of us got free movie passes good for any movie, including opening weekend. Helloooo Pirates 3!!!
