Aye.. a lot shorter.. the cistern and the tomb of theocan have also been shortened and merged. Palace Midas is also a lot shorter. In general I like what they've done. The layouts are a bit more logical now and they've kept all the best bits, and created some cool puzzles.

Obelisk of Kahmoon at the moment! There are some well tricky jumps in this level which can be frustrating but it's satisfying when you get it right..

Not all the doors can be opened (like in legend). Presumably they'll add rooms behind them in the next game... Hope so!

It's well hard with the keyboard.. I can only do it with the controller. I try to press the equivalent keys when I do it on the keyboard and it just doesn't happen. Very frustrating.

Right, on this topic, i just thought i'd add that me and Panther are playing this through for the first time on hard mode. Both on our PCs, but she's using keyboard and i'm using an xbox 360 controller. I managed to do it after a few attempts and she wasn't able to, so I offered to try and do it for her. Although I use a controller I know the keyboard controls well from legend. It was pretty much impossible! I only managed to do the magic jump once in about fifty attempts. I swear those fellas at CD didn't try playing that through with a keyboard because with the default config it's unsane! Anyway, I plugged my controller into her laptop and did it first time without missing a single 'adrenaline jump'.. which just shows the difference.

Needed it already and I didn't even start for real yet! Couldn't work out how to get that artifact in the awkward part of the gym! Thanks stella!!

Panther and me and looking for games to play together on our Lan. We just finished NOLF2 in Co-op mode which was great fun. It's better than just playing 2-player death matches. Anyone know of any other games that have good 2-player co-op modes?

For perfect games.. games that are ace to play and couldn't possibly be improved.. I'd say Tetris, Super Mario World Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Can't think of any others off the top of me head.. I think that Half Life 1 is close but the last 3 levels are gash

I have it now, it came with my new laptop. I deleted it straight away and put XP back on tho'.. XP runs like greased lightning on this laptop! I'll install vista when I next have to format the laptop probably (maybe a year or so)

Just thought i'd add - when you turn on the computer, if it doesn't boot from the cd or at least say 'Press any key to boot from CD', you need to go into bios (usually you hold DEL or F2 when you turn the computer on to do this) and change the boot order so that CD Drive is above Hard Drive

Just played through the demo properly for the first time and enjoyed it!! I'm not looking forward to that T-rex battle tho.. he's huge!! Fantastic cut scene tho'

Lovin' it so far! I usualy play with keyboard and mouse but I plugged in my xbox 360 controller this time and it's pretty decent to play with! although I think I prefer shooting people with the mouse. Random thoughts: - I'm getting the impression that knowing how the levels worked in TR1 is actualy more of a hinderance than a help.. - Her scream is probably more reaslistic but i prefer the original one - The secret noise is ace

some people eh. People don't seem to look out for each other any more. I was walking through Liverpool after the footy the other night, and honestly, it was like a bad day in Beirut. There were some big fights kicking off because some coked up scallies were on the rampage. I saw some lad getting beat up and people were just walking past. Now I wasn't going to interfere, as my last confrontation with scallies ended up with me in hozzie! But I went and found some police to tell them what was goin' on. They said.. "Thanks for letting us know".. and then carried on talking. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were putting some plans together to deal with the crowds but it was very fustrating. Seeing people fighting like that made me far more sad than the result of the game

Bugs!! (So cynical..)

What I usualy do is convert the pictures to GIF files (Just by opening the picture and then clicking 'Save as' and changing the format in Photoshop or whatever you like to use), and then making the animation with that little program.
