I don't know how I missed this but this is one genre I love to play in. Dishonored is a game that’s difficult to put in a nicely defined genre cubicle. Officially it’s a “first person action game”, but it also has some RPG elements, a sniff of adventure, and also stealth appears to play a not to be underestimated role. Nintendo has announced that it will be publishing Bayonetta 2 exclusively for the Wii U. The surprise announcement was made during the Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast earlier today. Yusuke Hashimoto, who was producer of the first game, has stepped up to directing. Hideki Kamiya is supervising production. Atsushi Inaba will be serving as producer on the sequel. His previous efforts include God Hand, Okami and Vanquish. He's also working on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and The Wonderful 101 (formerly Project P-100). As you know, Degeneration is the name of the CGI Resident Evil movie that stars Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy, and Damnation being the title of it's announced sequel. Assassin's Creed III has been announced and is due for a worldwide release this year on October 31st. The new Assassin is of half-English and half-native American decent, born into the Mohawk tribe, his birth name Ratohnhakéton, which I've read has the meaning of "He hunts it" when roughly translated. Instead of using his tribal name, he prefers to call himself Connor. The game takes place during the mid and late 18th century, the American Revolution. So expect to see the battle on Bunker Hill, the Great Fire of New York, meet George Washington and more. The first trailer was released today.

One of many games I'm looking forward to. Based on what I've seen and read, this looks to be a winner (unlike the dumbed-down-for-console sequel to Deus EX, Deus Ex: Invisible War which I started but never finished). I hope, like the first game, there will be 4 to 5 multiple different endings depending on the choices you've made during the game. FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 has been officially announced by Square Enix, and is due to be released this year...I assume that's just the Japanese release though. I can't say I'm really excited about this, I liked FFXIII, but it did get quite boring for me. I'd much rather an X-3, lol.

Final Fantasy X has been officially announced as a high definition release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems. This year marks Final Fantasy X's ten year anniversary, and it still stands as one of the greatest Final Fantasy games. No media was shown by Square Enix regarding the makeover of the game, so we can assume it's in early days, or they're making it look even more beautiful than it did ten years ago, and want to keep it under wraps. Anyone else looking forward to this game?? Too me it looks like a mix between Demon's Souls and Resident Evil 5 but with Co-op Also its by Bethesda who are the makers of Oblivion which was very supportive of MODs so... Keep an eye on this game if your not. also will be on PS3 and Xbox but don't expect mods for those.

My favourite Non-Tomb Raider game so far is MX Vs ATV Reflex. Its not a very good quad game but its an excellent dirtbiking game and I LOVE dirtbiking. Only complaint is come on give us a Track Editor already... Last dirtbiking game to have a good editor was Motorcross madness 2. Its the most realistic dirtbiking game to date. I love that they have Terrain Deformation in it, I really hope companies learn from this game.

Anyone get this yet? I was wondering if it's worth the $12.99/ month online fee. The graphics look hot as it requires some good graphics on your comp.
