Tomb Raider Anniversary Help Zone

Okay so I'm in the first timed room in egypt with the statues that slide in. i know what I'm supposed to do, I was just wondering if you guys have any tips for getting on them in time. I've been doing it forever!

Okay, I'm at the point where I have just killed two gorillas. Now, as I go up into the stands, I hear Pierre's taunt. Now, what happens after that? I've gone all the way around the colluseum, but all I've seen are two unreachable grappling rings and some lighted areas that I would expect to be either artifacts or relics. I don't know how to get there from here.

I'm trying to jump through this door for long time with no luck to success.. can some one give me some tips ? Obelisk of Khamoon I've been stuck on this for three days straight now. The walkthru says to jump when the doors are closed but that doesn't work because Lara has no target and therefore doesn't land on the pole.

Hi All, I just got the Anniversary game and I have been trying for hours to do anything right and I'm not even out of the Manor yet! Understand that I have been playing TR since almost the day it came out back in 1996, so I am not new to the game. The problem is, I did games 1 through 5 on the keyboard of my Macs. I am VERY good on the keyboard. Then, #6, 7 and now Anniversary I have for the PS2 and I am like a total idiot with it. I hate using the PS control thing. I much prefer the arrow keys to go fwd, back, side, etc. I never played 6 and only did part of level 1 of Legend just because its SO frustrating for me to do anything right with this controller. At the very beginning of Sanctuary of the Scion at the top of the stairs with the mural painting of pharaohs holding something in their hands on 3 walls and the 4 things you turn... what the heck am I supposed to do here!! I think they are supposed to match but when you turn one, the other ones move!!

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone figured out how to beat the puzzle after killing the two mummies/atlanteans in the sanctuary of the scion. I can't solve it in time for the time trial difficulty setting. I only pass it when I randomly spin the four spinny things, which takes me about 10-15 minutes but I only have someting like 28 minutes to finish the level, I can't do it in time. I just don't understand the orientation of the hieroglyphs. It's the last time trial I need to do! but it's so hard! It's driving me insane, I've found all artefact & relics and completed all time trials except THIS ONE! I'm only one task away from completing the entire game... If anyo…

there are 2 doors in Lara's bedroom that she can't enter: one by a hamper full of dirty laundry and one by the 2 levers she pulled to get the Journal. there is a door downstairs that Lara can't enter, if she's facing the crates, its to the right of it and it faces her. I did get into the Music room but not much to do there and I still can't get the last artifact in the gym. I got Lara on #3, jump up, hop up, shimmy left around, jump left, use the grapple, walk and jump to slide and then jump to grab the ledge, shimmy left to jump again but she won't jump on the next sloped edge.

I'm in St Francis Folly (not very far in, just climbed up the pillars to the ledge) now I know i have to wall-walk to the next ledge - I've got the hang of actually grappling the ring ok, I edge Lara up a little - then...........what direction do I need to go in (PS2)? lol, i know this is ridiculous, but she just won't go where I want her to...I just want to get on the godamn ledge, please help.... ta very much

Hello everyone, Today I was so happy I completed all Peru levels. Up until now, I had collected ALL relics and artifacts. But as I wanted to play this evening, I had an error saying the autosave-file was damaged and had to be repaired. So I clicked ok. And as I wanted to continue, I noticed the only thing I could do, was start a new game. I can't continue from where I came! And the weird thing is: I still have all my unlocks. So now I'm asking for your help... HELP!! Is there anyone who's about to get started with the level St. Francis Folly who's willing to share his or her savegame-files with me? I'd be so delighted! Please help me if you can. I'm stuck in Damocles tomb (the one with a lot of swords coming out of the ground) and I can't figure out how to jump on the coloumn on the right.There is the graple suport up there but that only makes me ride the wall underneath it. If someone can help me ,please post !

ive pulled da switch under water and sum gate opend on da far left. . .i went thru, got out da water and climbd to da top but da door onda other side isnt opend now i dnt no wat to do!

DOESNT MATTER. IV DONE IT! right. i know what i am supposed to do, its getting lara to do it! pool room with moving ledges....after having moved the crate to its correct position, i jump onto ledges etc flip back onto the ANNOYING moving ledge, manage to jump across the little gap, but CANNOT get lara to be in a position where she will jump to grab the scarab ledge....wont do it, any pointers as to best move? right and jump or something, where she should be? bearing in mind i have about a foot width to deal with by this time, not giving me alot of time to do it!! thanks

ok, I know that the gameplay is totally different in TRA as in Legend, which is great, I love the graphics and the more 'realistic approach' BUT, I really need big guns when i go in there, and I miss not being able to cheat with the 'weapon cheat' as i've used in all the games (am not ashamed to admit that) - for example, the T-Rex fight in the original game is a walk in the park compared to this one - I don't wanna spend half an hour trying to kill a godamn prehistoric monster when i could be exploring tombs - i always used the cheat in the original and the T-Rex died after a couple of gunshots - now you have to run around like a complete maniac trying to do the adrenili…

Omg, it's been awhile since I was last here, but now TRA is out, I'm lost. Mind you though, I did quite a lot on my own. In the last level of Egypt, SotS (cant spell), there is the room of Horus and Anubis and the changing water levels. This puzzle seems to be the only one (beside the annoying fight back at Tihocan's tomb) that I can't pass. Any help is welcomed. (still working on it.....) (lol, coming back for help.)

Has anyone else noticed this! I'm only a the Lost Valley (bless me) and I noticed, just after killing the bear and climbing the wooden ledges - I accidentally died (ie falling off the ledge) after taking the artifact - so, I reloaded my game, did exaclty the same thing, and when I got to the ledge with the artifact, nothing there, just a pile of bones.......are they taking the P**s or what? the chimes went and everything as if i'd found the secret, but nothing, i was pretty miffed..

Anyone else encounter this problem? I am playing the Full U.S. Retail version, out of a Box on an Original CD: In Lost Valley, right before she gets to the T-Rex after the bear by the Hut, Lara works herself up to a large deep opening with sloped sliding wooden panels; there is a Shotgun Shells Power Up by the stone stairs RIGHT AFTER THE CHECKPOINT and on the other side of the large opening, another Shotgun Shell Power Up on a wooden Ledge that Lara lands on. She will not pick them up; the YELLOW Exclamation mark won't even show when she's standing near them or on top of them. I have tried pressing E and also CTRL with Lara position from different angles!!…

Im at the temple towards the end of the city of vilcabamba and in the left room with the pool and i cant seem to jump backwards and grab this http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/4303/trana0.jpg ledge. I always end up falling into the water. is there a way i can jump higher or longer so i can grab it?

im stuck in greece inside dis water place, wen da water rises and i dive under water to put da switch down da wood fing cmes out but it gets stuck and i dnt no how to get it out. . . . can any1 help!

Could someone help please??? I approached the temple with ornate facade and double doors in the City of Vilcabamba, but went round to the right hand side first to check for medipacks etc. Lara then seemed to get stuck in what seems like quicksand, she sinks up to her knees and "dances" around. I've pressed all the keys I can think of, but she won't move, and she won't sink either. Has anyone else found this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Juliana

Ok I've found the red and green fuses....now how do I get to the blue one. I know I've seen something down on the floor where I got the green fuse, but there is no safe way to get down there. I also have seen a platform with a tunnel at the end of it on the left. But there's no way to get up there and I am thinking that tunnel may lead to getting the blue fuse....can anyone point me in the right direction? I don't like being stuck.
