Tomb Raider Anniversary Help Zone

I am really stuck. I just can't seem to be able to kill the large crerature like thing at the top of the lava room. Is there a code or something where i can just avoid trying to knock him off and move on? I love this game, but WOW it has really been challenging.

Hi, bought this game a few days ago for my pc but haven't managed to install it yet I keep getting a crc error when installing, I have read that I should copy all the files to my hard drive and then install from there to overcome this but when doing this there is a file called archive.d00 which won't copy across. Any help would be much appreciated, I really wanna play this game!!! I'm not very computer literate so simple computer speak please. Thanks!!

All, Am having abit of trouble on the first level - the mountain caves is that to finish the level you need to open the large door by pulling on two counterweights. However even though I have pulled on the two coutnerweights and stood on the level within the time limit there still seems to be a wooden bar that goes across the door to prevent it opening. ANy ideas or am I being stupid? Cheers

I am having a problem at the very end when Lara faces the ugly guy with the goat tee. Not sure if I should hold L1 and press down L2 while pressing O? Can someone help out? The board goes blank. You hear the sound like you should push O and the screen should go blurry but it doesnt, He just says"You foolish girl". Then blows Lara away.

Hi, I am a music student at the University of Gloucestershire. One of my projects requires my group to write music specifically for four different types of media. I would love to be able to implement the music we write into a level of Tomb Raider Anniversary, but don't know where to start. I would greatly appreciate any direction that would enable me to do this. I have Tomb Raider Anniversary on a MacBook Pro so a Mac-friendly solution would be fantastic. If this is a problem though, I also have a PC with Windows XP and would not mind purchasing the game again if the solution is only possible with a PC. Thanks for any and all help Franco

Where do I install the saved games after I download them.

Hello everyone, I am brand new around here, and I sure would appreciate some help. I play Anniversary on a PS2, and I am absolutely frustrated with one move -- the fast swing on a horizontal bar. I am so completely stuck in a room in Greece. I'm in level 11 (Sanctuary of the Scion). I have completed the part with the room with the two statues and all the changing water levels. Now I am in the room with the moving scarab below a horizontal crack on the right wall (that is, to the right when you come in from the water). Hello, Fairly new to thing so bare with me... I've managed to get several outfits in the game but want to know if you can change them on lara, I cant work out how to do this. Changing outfits in Croft Manor is easy enough but dont know how to change them during the game. Any ideas? Lizzie

Ok, so this is a possible bug, or I'm possibly very stoopid & have missed something obvious lol. I've killed the T-Rex and have swum through the tunnel, ready to climb that pole & get out. Except Lara won't grab the pole. I've tried jumping on it from the base, running & jumping at it, you name it. Am I missing something really obvious, or is this a bug? Thanks

I have TR:A for Wii, and lately, whenever I play it, it'll have a message pop up on screen saying: Wii conections interrupted, and something else. It just started when I got about half way through Egypt. It gets really bad when I fall in water it does it about every 10 sec. It messed up my other games too. Anyone have the same problem??? Plz help!

Does anyone have a suggestion or can tell me what I'm doing wrong at the four descending poles? I CANNOT get Laura to jump off the first one before it lowers and am unable to raise the fourth tower because of this. I've followed Stella's walkthrough and am still having trouble. Help PLEASE??????

I've pulled out the crate and revealed the small room by the stairs. Everything I read says to flip the switch. Well, I'd love to, but I've got one of those "turn the dials and line up the symbols correctly" puzzles. I've searched, but can't seem to find the clue to the order for the puzzle. What am I missing??

Hi. I'm having a problem with my PS2 version of TR Anniversary, and basically I'm replaying the levels now collecting the artifacts I missed on my first play through. Alls been going fine up until I get to Tomb if Qualopec, and on the level statistics screen it says I have just 1 out of the 2 artifacts. Looking at my walkthrough it says that there is one artifact at the bottom of one of the passage pits, that is in a small cubbyhole next to a vertical pole. Looked there and nothing was there, so I guessed that was the one artifact that I had got. Well when I got to finding the second artifact my walkthrough says that it is In an alcove, which you get to by swinging…

Yeah... Lara won't do the dodge when the T-rex gets enraged. I've gotten her to do it twice now, and I have no idea how I got her to do it those two times. I could experiment a little more to find out what I'm doing wrong, but since I absolutely hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate boss fights I'm disinclined to. The Rex runs toward Lara, the action slows down, I press either left or right and the roll/jump key and she's supposed to do the dodge move. Am I missing something here? Is the T-Rex supposed to be a certain distance away, or am I too close to the walls or something? What tricks do I need to know? I have a feeling the boss fights in this game are go…

I'm playing on the Wii system. I was able to shoot at the trex while he was far away so I could get him in rage mode only once. Every time I have to start this section over the dang dino is constantly right by me, so I can't shoot at him for rage. I know it's possible from doing it once, just don't know how I was able to get him to finally leave me the heck alone so I can shoot him. Can anyone help? I'm using the standard Wii controller and the nunchuk. TIA Well, never got him to run away from me, but I found a niche between the two spike wheels and blasted the crap out of him for about 5 minutes. UGH! At least he's dead now.

Ok no one laugh I can't beat the first level of Tomb Raider Anniversary i've got where the T-Rex is and beat that but i can't get any farther i know where to go i just can't get there i got up on the ruins but then i get stuck.Help

I'm in the second Egypt level (Obelisk of Khamoon), right at the end. I've got the Eye of Horus and the Ankh of Isis, and Stella says the underwater gate way down below is supposed to open when you take the Scarab of Osiris from the depression in the pillar. But I grab the Scarab, jump down into the water and the gate is still closed. Help? edit: ...there are four symbols on the wall just above the gate. I'm missing one artifact. Heh. Ignore this, talk amongst yourselves! And lock this whenever possible, please?

I'm new to TR-Anniversary - just beginning. I can't seem to even connect with the 2nd grapple in the game after spending almost an hour trying. Is there something I can do to get moving and on to actually opening the doors?

I know i asked this before and i am so sorry but i forgot what to do.. can someone point me in the right direction on what to do in order to get the installer for TRA to go beyond 95% without messing up? Let me know if there is a simple way to do this...I know theres a simple way to do it. but i forgot sorry about this thanks TRFAN

Ok so I CAN NOT get through this part. I am in Egypt in the obelisk of khamoon and Im in the timed run to get the first artifact. It's not the time that is an issue, cause at this point I don't even want the artifact, but I cannot get past the grapple/wall run. Every single time I try to do this, I cannot get high enough on the grapple to reach the ledge on the other side. I have tried looking at the videos online, and I have tried throwing the grapple out when I'm at the highest point and even right after I jump and I still do not even get close. Any help would be so appreciated. I have tried to do this no less than 20 times at this point. HELP PLEASE!!!

I didn't push the box down first and am now stuck on the bottom floor of Tihocan. Ahh! Trying to avoid starting the entire game over. I can climb back up the ladder but can't get to the next floor because the box is in my way. Is there any other way to get up?

I have been stuck on the last button/level of the lava tower on my PSP for 2 days (6 hours) and am now thinking it's an impassable glitch. I shoot the button no problem, and one winged demon appears and I kill him. The problem is theres another demon but no matter what I do he's out of range to kill And worse still once he has a bead on me I can't stop him hitting me. I have magnaged a couple of times to shoot the first demon then start the timed section but the second one always gets me before I'm done. HELP!!! Thanks Jamie

I have given up on the Centaurs and am hoping someone here has a saved game for after they have been killed. My husband had a go and my elder daughter with no luck whatsoever. Just can't do that adrenaline Dodge. I always use Stella's walkthroughs and saved games (if needed) but she hasn't finished her walkthrough yet and hasn't completed this level with the Centaurs and so there is no saved game for this part. I could wait until she does this level but don't know how long it will take and i really want to get on with the game. Hi all! I am new to this forum. Have usually found Stella's TR walkthroughs very efficient until now. I have tried everything I possibly can find on this particular sequence but I cannot get Lara to jump back to the pillar behind her. I have printed out the picture on Stella's TR site showing the wall run, decorative border and I have followed it to the letter. Alas, Lara continues to jump to the left corner and loses some health. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. This has caused me mega frustrations as well as making my rear sore from trying so many times! All suggestions welcomed! Marsha
