Reaching the animal trials in my 2nd playthrough, I once again wonder this question: What does water have to do with Jaguars?? I know Jaguars can swim, but they prefer ground and tree canopies instead of rivers and water. Even the ones I see at the 5 zoo's I've been they pace the grass or laze on tree logs. The Spider trial I understand; climbing up walls. The Eagle Trial I understand, dodging huge azz blades while tight rope walking. The Jaguar.....one long underwater tunnel........what the frizz??(cookie to who know what game Frizz is from) The path after spider leading to Eagle was more Jaguar then the actual Jaguar Trial Onl…

Quick comment, hope it's not inappropriate. I played Shadow yesterday and today and thought the graphics looked quite good. I do not have a 4K set-up, just HD. I just booted it on our Xbox One S (with a smaller TV screen) and thought the graphics looked much worse than they did earlier today. I fiddled with the TV settings and Xbox settings but nothing changed. I don't have any screenshots but swear the game resolution looks like it's suddenly become not even HD. I thought maybe that Xbox was having a fit so went to the other one, the Halo 5 one attached to a bigger HD screen. It wanted to do an update and when the game started. Does anyone have any definitive details about the season pass? I know it will have 7 new tombs that reward with a weapon/outfit. But how are the planning to release the 7 tombs? Are the rewards going to be integrated or transfer to story? Will the tombs be its own seperate mode or expanded into the game? Are all 7 going to be all at once or once a month, etc? Even though $30 is a steep price tag(at this point of my life) for Season Pass, and I probally will not buy it (unless xbox has DLC sale) I am curius how they plan to set it up/dole it out.

In case you haven’t discovered this, there’s a rare achievement on the XB1 that’s super easy. While roaming around the Hidden City, stop and pet any Llama you come across. After five, you get a rare achievement with some good points toward your gamer score. FYI.

Hello LCO: I have a couple questions regarding the Hidden City Paititi. 1. There is a Document and Relic near the rice fields of HC below the cave where Uchu/Jonah are sitting. How do I access them? -I read they are in Skull Cave/cave with a broken water wheel. I have walked all over Paititi and can find no entrance to said cave(s) 2. I am also missing 2 challenges in Paititi. Are they in the area closed off by the Serpent Guard? -I have 4/6. I don't have the book, but someone emailed to tell me about this. Apparently, the section in the book about the Completionist Trophy/Achievement says you need to complete all Challenge Tombs and crypts; find all documents, relics, and monoliths; and complete all side missions and challenges. It does not say anything about survival caches, but I can confirm that you do, in fact, need the caches as well--at least in the PC version. When every region on the map says it's 100% complete, the achievement will unlock. You don't need to find all the explorer backpacks and archivist maps, but they will help you find the other items. Using xbox, I cant get out of water chamber in the Hidden City area. I can climb wall and swing to platform but to then exit cant get out of area.

Hi, i cant find 2 camps in kuwaq yaku ... i realized when the way from camp docks was looong , so i look at the map and im missing base camp temple of life and base camp airfield dirt road.. i have check like 3 times to be sure .. but none of those 2 are there... any help is very much appreciated thx forgot to mention im playing on xbox1 S

My first go was on scaredey-cat setting. Now trying "One with the Jungle". How exactly does Eagle Vision work here? I couldn't quite understand the descriptions of the differences. So far, up to the end of Cozumel, Eagle Vision does absolutely nothing even though it can be activated. I am not even sure it does highlight waypoints but don't have the game in front of me. Does it end up being the same as on scaredey-cat setting, just needs skills to be purchased?

Hi, is there anybody else that has this problem with the gold bars in the hidden city. I tried for an almost an hour to find this gold shown on the map in the hidden city and I still can't find it.It looks like it is on top of a relic that I have already found and it shows the blue location beam, but I looked everywhere,and when I go to the spot , there is nothing there( I'm thinking it is a glitch as I have seen a couple of youtubers having the same problem) can someone help please? it is driving me crazy lol

Please look at this capture of the SOTTR map. I'm right at the point-of-no-return mission, which I'm postponing until I finish all the challenges, crypts, relics, etc. I was using this map to plan my next exploration/collection, when I notice something bizarre. Note that all the map markers for the Peruvian Jungle region have disappeared. All the other regions have tons of markers for camps and collectibles. This is true even for my regions that are 100% complete. So why all of a sudden are the map markers gone. I decided to do a Deadly Obsession run. With a certain very helpful walkthrough that reminded me of a few things I didn't remember I got through the bell platform puzzle in Cozumel. Okay, Stella's second section, climb up, bats fly out, press X to keep hold to then continue and abseil down. I know there's not a lot of time but I press X VERY fast when doing jumps and the blue timer was only at six o'clock when my thumb, already hovering over X, pressed the button. What did Lara do? I’m in the ruins in Cozumel at the beginning of a New Game +. I’m in the first chamber out of the harrowing underwater passage, to the right of which is a braided rope door. When I try to open, it says I need to upgraded knife; which doesn’t make sense. I have all my other weapons, outfits, and skills from the first play-through, so why wouldn’t my upgraded knife carry over as well?

Does anyone know if you keep your collectibles in a New Game + mode. Also: I’ve seen games that will only unlock NewGame+ with 100% completion. ThT’s not the case here, is it?

One of my goals in SOTTR is to get all the skills. I wasn’t able to do that in the last two games (Although I got close.) However, now that I’m in San Juan and backtracking for raids and side missions, it’s looking like there won’t be enough earnable XP to get all the skills before the final mission. Since there’s only a handful of skills left, I thought I could revisit the hunting areas and kill anything that moves (has anybody else felt bad about killing the innocent monkeys sitting in trees minding their own business?) Wearing some of the specialized outfit combinations boosts XP earned while hunting, so I assume this is a viable plan. Does anyone know, thoug…

In San Juan I've done the side mission and in theory been given the outfit. I cannot, though, craft it. The resources disappear but the icon changed from the not-crafted one to a broken purple heart. Re-crafting does nothing except use resources. I have read elsewhere that on PS4 restarting the game doesn't help (I'm on Xbox). In terms of "why?", the only slight oddity I can see is I seem to have done part of the mission at the wrong point. I started the mission almost immediately on arrival but did nothing further. I went around the map doing loads of stuff, went elsewhere in the "world" and did stuff there, before returning and doing even more. One of those …

When I was little, one of the most fascinating things about the Aztecs, Mayans, etc were the Jaguar and Eagle warriors. Aztec versions of Seals, Rangers, Green Beret, etc. Though romanticized a good bit, they were some of my favorite ancient civilization warrior/armies, and got me into studying history. In Shadow, imagine my smile when I saw that shiny, green and gold Jaguar Warrior give me the "you the sneaky type?" stare And in cutscenes, their brothers, the Eagle Warriors. I have a couple of related questions. After the main missions moved from the Hidden Cityto the next area, I noticed I was only 76% done in the HC. So I backtracked to finish up that area. I finished what I thought were the last three side missions for that area. However, when I went to look at the remaining challenges in the region stats accessed from base camps, I saw I only had 10 of the 11 side missions for the HC region. I put my Blue Heron outfit back on and ran every inch of the area initiating dialogues in an effort to trigger the missing mission giver, but there doesn’t seem to be one. I've claimed my gold edition items on the Square Enix account but they are not showing up in my game. I also am not able to connect to the store in the menus it says... This content cannot be accessed at this time. Does anyone know how to access the store or if I'm doing something wrong. It also keeps telling me that my game is not linked with my account although it's showing my username and email address. I'm just confused as what to try. Thanks!!

I've gone through the oil fields and got to the first camp in the mission where fast-travel is available again. At this point I have done 8 of the 11 side missions in Paititi. How do I get the other three started? There are no markers on the map.
