Oh no, not spiders again! Are spiders this big even native to England? Where on earth did they come from?! I'm calling the exterminator as soon as I get back upstairs! Puzzle-solving, or, in my case, randomly pulling levers until something happens. Jumping through the doors before they close! Oh hey, loot! Let's see what on this tape player... Daddy! *sob sob* Thralls? What the hell are those? They killed six of you? And you brought them back here?! Oh well, I'm sure they can't possibly be alive after all this time. Oooh, shiny... Now I have two pieces of the set! I wonder if I get a stats bonus for that? AAAAHHHHGGHHH!!! These things have been under the house all along?! What if they got out?! Daddy, I love you and all, but you are completely insane. Ouch! That's going to leave a mark. Take that, stupid skeleton dog thing! See me pushing this massive block of stone. I'm so awesome. Man, the batteries in these magic gloves are rubbish. Incidentally, there's a place in the Thrall room where if you stand, the Thralls lose track of Lara. It's rather fiddly to get right though, and I usually end up getting mauled worse trying to pull it off than if I just fought the thralls normally. Part 2 to follow...

Plunging down a deep hole and trying not to die. Unsuccessfully. Hmmmm... What's this then? Woo-hoo, I knew this thing would give me super powers! But it only works on a certain type of rock. Perhaps I can grind the rock up into a paste and spray it on everything... Yeah, that would be fully awesome! The plot thickens... Doing my superhero thing. Shooting bats again. I think I must've killed off the entire population of bats in Thailand. I don't know why they want to attack me so much; maybe they're rabid. Fortunately I've had all my shots. Awww, my magic glove has stopped working :-( I don't suppose it's compatible with my mobile phone charger... Oh, it's that stupid move where you have to swing and then jump backwards off a wall. I hate this move with the burning passion of a thousand suns. At least you only have to do it once in this game. Yes, I have emerged into daylight once more! I'm not terribly fond of Alastair, but this line makes me laugh a lot. Sailing back to England in my fancy boat. I love being rich.

Good to see you too Yup, the game is running pretty well so far. It even recognises the extra buttons on my 5-button mouse, which is a bonus. Not all games do that (I'm looking at you, Dead Space 1 & 2). I've finished the first section of Thailand. I haven't even looked at the treasures and relics, so I have no idea if I've collected them all. Probably not, I'm not very good at finding stuff... Thailand... so beautiful and peaceful. What is up with the wildlife here?! This room... Urgh, I always get totally lost here, and this time was no exception. After going around in circles for a while, I've found a couple of big crystals. I'll just shove them into my backpack and find a way out of this place. Mmmm... block pushing... Now to jump down this lovely-looking hole. Right after I've finished squashing these spiders...

I've never had any problem getting the game to run under Windows 7, fortunately. Even on the old computer I had when I first bought the game, I just turned the graphics settings down a bit when the frame rate dropped too low. I have installed the game patch, and I'm using the beta release of the video card driver from the Nvidia website rather than the official one released in October, as that one caused problems for me with Windows Movie Maker. This is my current setup: OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i3 (3Ghz) RAM: 4GB Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti (1Gb)

I've just started the Mediterranean Sea levels. I'm playing the PC version on Windows 7, for those who are interested. I love taking screenshots, so my posts are going to be full of pictures. Click on any picture for the full-size version. I'm not very far yet, just about to go over to Amanda's ship. Argh, an explosion! This is never good. Either we've had a gas leak, or someone's trying to kill me again. I bet it's the second one. It's always the second one. Whoa, how much explosives did these people use?! This place is trashed! I sure hope my homeowners insurance covers this. Oh for goodness sake, what now?! My house explodes, my friends try to kill me. I am DEFINITELY having a bad day. It's suddenly one week earlier, and I'm in the middle of the ocean. Time for a bit of diving, I think! This is me attempting to blow up a shark using a sticky grenade, and killing myself in the process. I suck. Yeah, it's much safer to kill sharks using the harpoon gun. "Incredible. The carvings are clearly similar to early Germanic design, but this is far older than the 5th century, yet, strangely enough, more sophisticated." I guess this would be an incredibly important and valuable find that would re-write a lot of text books. I sure hope it doesn't get blown up later or something. Wow, look at this creature! I guess they just spawned out of thin air in order to annoy me. What?! THEY KNOCKED ME OUT AND STOLE MY MAGIC GLOVE! My one chance to be a superhero, gone! I am so going to end them all. You maniacs! You blew it up! God damn you! God damn you all to hell! Well, that must be where those stupid divers came from. I best get over there post-haste and do some killing.

There is a known issue with the PC version of Underworld and computers with certain Nvidia graphics cards. If you're trying to play Underworld on PC and it's running slowly, make sure that you install the patch (only works on the disc version of the game, not on downloadable ones such as on Steam). Making sure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date will help too. I'm currently running Windows 7 and I am very happy with it. I can't say if the Level Editor will work with it as I don't use it, but I've gotten all of the older TR games to run, including TR1 (using DOSBox).

Welcome Lacky! Posting here is fine I have Underworld running fine on Windows 7 Home Premium x64 without any tweaking. Have you installed the Patch? This patch is only compapatible with the disc versions of the game, not downloadable versions such as the Steam version. Have you also checked your hardware to make sure that you meet the system requirements, and are your graphics drivers up-to-date?

Definitely looking forward to this. Leon's back, yay! Resident Evil 4 is one of my most favourite games ever! It looks like they're going for different types of gameplay in separate stories based around different characters, so there should be something to keep everyone happy.

It may be doing that because you're hitting the shortcut keys to change the screen orientation while you're playing. On Windows 7 I can right-click on the desktop and choose Graphics Options > Hot Keys > Disable, which stops it from doing that, although I don't know if this is the same in Vista.

I don't think it's strictly related to the printer, because I often get a similar error when I'm using Internet Explorer 6 on my work computer (no choice unfortunately, it's the only browser our database will work with). It seems to happen most often with Facebook. Make sure your Java is up-to-date, I'm sure that outdated Java's causing some of the problems on my work computer.

An M-rating? Cool, I hope so I'd like a few grizzly death scenes to add to my morbid YouTube channel I'm not thrilled by changes to the TR storyline, but if the game is good I'll quickly get over it.

Only two people can play co-op at a time - one person is Lara and one person is Totec. Trying to figure the puzzles out together is lots of fun, and you do have to co-operate quite closely, because Lara and Totec have different abilities that you have to use together to solve the puzzles. There is the potential for a bit of squabbling when it comes to collecting jewels for points, and collecting medipacks and ammo, but the people I played with were pretty respectful about that.
