The speculation's the best bit I don't remember much about the story around Lara's father, but I wonder if this Underworld thing could be a connection to finding her mother. I need to go play Legend again... Well he did just get stabbed through the stomach by a giant bug thing, so he probably wouldn't have been much use anyway. Not that he didn't deserve it or anything

Great info I don't think that Kurtis will be back either, or if they ever do decide to tie up any of the AoD storylines, it'd just be a passing mention. I'd love to have an in-game explanation of what happened between Last Revelation and Angel of Darkness, although that was all supposed to be explained in AoD. From what I remember, Lara was supposed to have been rescued and nursed back to health by Bedouins. There's one character from the tribe referred to as "Putai" who was originally supposed be quite important. Maybe I can just go sneak into Eidos one night and swipe all Core's material they had for AoD and its planned sequels... I haven't read the book "Amulet of Power", but its storyline seems quite different to what was planned in the game.

I definitely found Boaz to be more difficult than Eckhardt and Karel. I was just about tearing my hair out trying to defeat Boaz, even after looking up what I had to do in a walkthrough, but I defeated the final two without even dying once. Of course, the wonky targeting system didn't help in the least, the distinct lack of ammunition and health packs in Boaz Returns made life quite difficult, and why oh why couldn't Kurtis sprint...

Did you put the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode? The game doesn't save properly if you put it into Win 98 compatibility mode. Have you installed any of the patches for it?

The Kurtis rumour on this board was started by someone who saw Kurtis listed as one of the characters on Underworld's IMDb page, but that has now been removed (link). Ms Croft is right, you should treat everything you see as speculation unless it comes from Eidos itself, especially information on Wikipedia and IMDb as those sites are edited by their members and anyone can just add anything they like.

Small update, from an article in today's Metro newspaper... Seems SCi has now received a takeover proposal, but they are going to try an emergency fund-raising plan. (sorry for the slight blurriness; I'm way too cheap to buy a scanner so I took a photo of the article instead )

At what point is the video not showing? Is it in the window in Windows Movie Maker itself, or is it after you've saved the video that it won't play? When I use Movie Maker it never plays the video in the preview window, but the clip works fine after I've saved it.

Do you know if Eidos has actually confirmed it? IMDb content is added by its users, so someone might have just thought it would be fun to add that as a joke.

I think the graphics of the game on PC will depend more on what graphics card you have than on what version of Windows you have. Very good graphics card = very good graphics that can compete with the PS3. A not so good graphics card (like I have) = not so impressive graphics. I'm going to have to do a hardware update, I think... and I need more RAM... This could be an expensive business

Ah, I didn't notice that, thanks Fusion. I would have thought that the saves would be in the same location no matter which version of Windows is being used, but I haven't used Vista so I don't know what it does with TR save games. Maybe it hides them... Doing a search will probably be the easiest way to find the files, I think, unless there's someone with Vista experience who can help?

Yeah, doing a search would be a very good idea. If you can't find the files like that though, can you right-click on the shortcut you use to run the game (either on your desktop or on the Start Menu), choose Properties, and tell me what it says next to "Start In" on the Shortcut tab? It's the line highlighted here: The location in that line should hopefully tell us where your game is putting its saves. I just want to check if your game is running from a location other than your Tomb Raider II folder for some reason.

This is what my TR2 folder looks like: Those files named "Savegame.0", "Savegame.1" and so on are the savegame files. Those are the ones you need to keep in order to save your progress.
