You're very welcome, and glad it's working Yeah, it's a fairly common problem. When I installed it got to about 95% and then took so long to finish that I was getting seriously worried. Luckily for me it finished on its own though, for loads of people it doesn't.

Have a read of this page at Eidos technical support. Basically, if the install is freezing and not going through, you should copy the entire contents of the disc except the "dx9.0c" folder over to your hard drive and run setup from there. Good luck, hope you get it working. Anniversary is a great game.

From Stella's: Artifacts look like shiny statuettes with a different design for each game location (e.g., Tyrannosaurus teeth in Peru, spearheads in Greece, cartouches in Egypt, carved idols in Atlantis). Relics are unique items. Each has a different appearance and description. You'll see an information screen about each relic when you find it. You can also examine the relics you've found so far in the Rewards section of the main menu, or by visiting Lara's trophy room in Croft Manor. The one in the mountain caves is a bottle. That's definitely a bug. The switch should be there even before the pillars have been pressed. I did a web search, and the only solution that I could find was to go back and re-play the level from where Lara kills Larson. If you haven't been manually saving, you'll have to download some savegames, I think.

Woa, PS4 is supposed to come out next year? Do you have a source for that? As far as I know, a PlayStation 4 isn't even under development yet, and doing a web search doesn't bring anything up except Sony execs saying they expect the PS3 could last 10 years.

From that article and that video, that guy looks like a total idiot to me. He should have acted like a civilized human being, respected the one-minute time limit, and left when the officers asked him to, instead of forcing them to remove him and then resisting and making a giant scene about it. The tasering may have been a bit much, but I'd've been tempted to taser him too

An AoD playthrough thread, excellent (this game drove me absolutely crazy, I don't know why I love it so...) The first time I played AoD, it was on a Pentium 3 with 4MB of integrated graphics, so I couldn't actually see what was going on in the game terribly well. When I got to this part, I exclaimed "Hey, Lara found a paint roller!" My best friend came over to see what on earth Lara could possibly want with a paint roller, so we looked in her inventory and I found out it was just a gun.

Here's my little collection of Tomb Raider stuff: That's the PC games 1 - 7, plus Anniversary and Lost Artifact, some AoD trading cards, the Tomb Raider comics compendium, a Tomb Raider/Witchblade crossover comic, two editions of the Tales of Lara Croft comic fanzine, and a giant Legend poster. I don't have any Lara figurines at the moment unfortunately. I'll look out for some to add to my collection at some point...

Sorry, if your problems are caused by the game being illegal, we can't help you. I'd suggest getting a proper version of the game.

I don't think you can run TR2 in DOSBox I believe it was designed to run under Windows, unlike TR1 which was designed for DOS. Which version of Windows are you running? The demo should be able to run under XP (although I'm not so sure about Vista). Have you tried running the setup normally?

Good on you Fortunately for me all my dealings with law enforcement have been good ones. Sometime earlier this year someone made a crank call to the police to say that a woman was being assaulted in our house, so the police turned up and ran around the house looking in all the rooms with their nightsticks out. They were very polite about it though
