Excellent, more chat events I very much doubt that I'll be able to make the December one because it's the day after my mom arrives here, but I'll try to be at the February one. I already have a PC copy of Legend so I won't be trying for that, but I will try for the copy of the DVD game.

I don't have a Blu-Ray player, so Blu-Ray DVDs would be a bit pointless A Wii would probably be entertaining, but not worth getting myself trampled and killed over... Although I understand that Wiis are in very short supply and highly sought-after at the moment.

Yeah, there is another way up. Look for a large sloped surface (at the place where you would climb out of the bottom pool when it is filled with water). There are ledges that Lara can climb up to get back up to the top.

Seems like a previous install of TR4 wasn't uninstalled properly. What you can do is go here and download the program trrc.exe under "Utility Programs". It'll clear out the traces of TR4 that are left on your system and hopefully allow you to install the game successfully. Make sure to only select the option for Last Revelation or it'll erase all the settings of your other TR games.

Do you mean your signature? The picture that appears at the end of each post? First you'll need to upload it to a picture-hosting site such as Photobucket (you'll need to create an account to upload pictures to Photobucket, but you can do that for free). Once you've done that, click on My Controls (it's in the menu that says "My Controls, View New Posts, My Assistant, My Friends, New Messagess). In the next screen, click on Edit Signature Then put the address of the picture in the signature box in between tags like so: Once you click on Update Signature, your signature settings will be saved. If you've done it correctly, your signature picture will appear on the Edit Signature page, like mine has above. If you use Photobucket to host your signature picture, you can just copy the text in the IMG Code box: It already has tags on it, so all you'd need to do is paste it into the signature box and click "update signature".

For all the cheats except the infinite breath, sunglasses and textureless mode, you have to complete time trials. Have a look at the cheats table in this post for more information on which time trials unlock which cheats.

Like I said, Lara is extremely recognisable, even to those who don't play the games, and even those who don't play the games know what sort of games she's in (an active adventurer makes sense to advertise an energy drink). Plus, I imagine that them using Lara was because they wanted to attract a young audience with disposable income, which they'd get with the video game players. That's my take on it anyway. I don't usually think about these things very much

Lara does make sense as a choice for Lucozade to advertise their product, even though she is a video game character. She's extremely recognisable, to the point where people who've never picked up a video game in their lives would have a good chance of recognising her, and it's well-known that she's an active adventurer type of video game character. I was definitely influenced to buy Lucozade after seeing the adverts on TV. I still buy Lucozade these days because it's "Lara's drink" I think that the image associated with a brand definitely influences our choices, although it's probably not the best reason for choosing to buy a product. Of course, if Lucozade was absolutely vile not even Lara could get me to drink it more than once. Good advertising may influence me to buy a product, but having a bad experience with the product will make me extremely reluctant to use that product again, no matter what image is associated with it. I don't consider the character to have "sold out" by appearing in television adverts; it's to be expected really. She is one of the most recognisable video game characters, and her appearing in adverts doesn't bother me any more than it does when sportsmen and -women or actors I like appear in adverts. In fact, I rather like watching adverts with Lara in them, as long as they treat the character respectfully and are true to the character established in the games, and as long as it's not over done, with advert after advert featuring her.

Yeah, to expand on what j7 and Fusion said, you don't have to worry about the tube "breaking off", but with rear projection TVs you may get images "burned" into the screen. This could happen from leaving the game in pause for too long, or from images that stay permanently on the game screen during gameplay (such as a health bar). From the Nintendo Gamecube precautions booklet: It's not a problem with the PS3 though, and you don't need to worry about a normal old TV that's not a rear- or front projection TV.

If they're trainees they might not know that they're expected to answer the phone yet, or they may be nervous about answering the phone in case the customer has a problem they're not yet trained to deal with. The new trainees at my work always get a deer-in-the-headlights look on their faces when the phones at their desks ring Of course, if you've already made it clear that they're expected to answer the phone and they still don't do it, that's just rude and you should start beating them until they co-operate
