lol, I can totally sympathise with your frustration. I almost broke my keyboard trying to do this bit. I advise getting away from the game for a while when it gets to situations like these. You might find that if you come back to later you'll be more relaxed and will be able to do it. If you're really considering downloading a savegame though, if you want you could send me the save you're on at the moment and I'll see if I can load it and get past that bit for you.

Yeah, you have to be fairly high on the rope, otherwise she gets stuck at the top or slides off the side. Good luck, let us know how you do!

I mean this area here: Yeah, you can jump it. Just make sure you're holding the jump button down while you're doing so. (ignore the glowing purple commentary markers there)

Once you're at the area where the second block was, you can just jump across the gap.

If you're on the platform where you pushed the first block, this is the way you need to go. Right in front and above of Lara is the crack in the wall that you need to jump and grab. There's another crack above it that you need to jump up to. After that you can do a sideways jump to the pole. If you're on the platform ahead, there's also a crack in the wall there that you need to jump to before you will be able to jump and grab the pole.

You may hanging too low on the grapple rope. Try jumping from a bit higher on the rope. Have a look at this picture for a reference

Where are you trying to jump left? Are you on the platform after you've climbed up the ladder from the bottom of the Cistern? You need to go right (if you're facing out toward the cistern). There's a couple of cracks in the wall you need to use in order to reach the pole there.

If you've put the blocks on the pressure pad and dragged the floating platform to the section the gates used to block, you now need to flood the Cistern again. If you're at the point where Lara enters the level, the turning switch thing you use to flood the room is nearby.

You said you pushed the blocks down to the bottom of the Cistern. Have you put them on the pressure pads yet?

Dark Wizard, where exactly are you? I've had a look at the level but I can't seem to figure out exactly where you are.

LOL, Thick accent? Toby Gard's accent isn't very thick at all. At least he doesn't have a heavy Welsh accent like some of the people I end up trying to speak to on the phone at work The commentaries are brilliant though, I love them. I'm busy replaying the game and listening to all of them as I go

I don't mind killing people who are obviously out to hunt and kill Lara (such as all the baddies in TR2), but when Lara arms herself to the teeth and breaks into places (such as in TR3), it can't exactly be called self-defence anymore. I know that it's just a game and it's all just pixels, but it says something about the character that I don't particularly like when she goes about killing security guards. Core should have put a little more thought into it, I think.

Well, in the DVD you can see the shaman guy reaching toward the other guy's chest, then it cuts away just as the Shaman's hand touches the guy's chest, and then you see him holding the guy's heart. In my VHS version I had back home you could see the Shaman putting his hand through the guy's skin into his chest and pulling the heart out. I thought it was gross but cool Of course, since I am extremely stupid and impressionable and I just have to copy everything I see in the movies, after I saw that I immediately went out and started ripping random people's hearts out!

LOL, it did bother me somewhat when Lara got to the London levels of TR3 and I had to kill security guards. My sister was working as a security guard in London at the time, so I wasn't impressed with Core's choice of enemy I must say though, that it doesn't really sit right with me when Lara kills people who aren't clear-cut enemies. I dislike it when policemen and security guards and such people die in movies, and I dislike having to kill them in video games too. Really, I don't think that Core were thinking too much about Lara's personality from TR3 onward. Although, to be fair to AoD, as far as I know Lara never actually killed any of the policemen or security guards. She had to taser gun to use during the Louvre levels (I can't remember if she had another weapon at that stage, but if she did it was the players choice to use it), and if you did the stealth attack on them she'd punch them out instead of neck-breaking them. I thought the levels in AoD where Lara was weaponless and had to run from the cops to avoid being caught (which would end the game) were a great idea. It's a pity it wasn't developed more.

I've been a bit taken aback by how the censors here feel the need to treat people like stupid children. Back home the various regulators had an extremely lax attitude toward censorship. Honestly, give the game a rating so that only adults can buy it. We are not idiots, we can all tell the difference between fiction and reality. (I am bitter because in my copy of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom the bit where the one guy reaches into the other guy's chest and pulls his heart out has been cut out. I always liked that bit )

The boat is not necessary for completing the level; it's just to get an artefact or a relic. There's no way of restarting a level that I know of, but once the game has been completed you can choose to replay levels, so you can go back and get what you missed afterwards. I'd advise keeping more than one save slot, just in case of situations like this (I have saves from the beginning of each level myself).

I'm sorry if this is a bit of a daft question, but when you started the level did you set the difficulty level to "Time Trial"?

I'm not an expert on iPhones or anything, but it may be that the Apple logo that comes up when the phone is switched on is backwards and the name "tPhone" comes up. Also the leaf on the Apple logo on the back seems to be facing the wrong way. It also may be the warning on the back that says "Notice:iPhone is the world mark registered by Apple Inc in USA. Waring it will break the law without authorized by Apple Inc if you use 'iPhone' logo on any electronic products".

Re-played St Francis Folly today to get the artefacts I missed, so I took a few screenshots while I was at it Some more Lara-acrobatics, just because I think it's cool So high... must resist urge to jump off... Too late! Aaaaahhhh, large metal boulder thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm using Fraps myself. It's very useful for taking screenshots. You can set the screenshot hotkey to anywhere you like, and specify what folder you'd like them to be saved to. If you use Fraps it also means that you don't have to keep exiting the game and pasting into Paint.
