Go to C:\Program Files\Core Design\Tomb Raider II. In that folder are some files named from savegame.0 to savegame.15. Just copy these savegame files out to somewhere safe, and once you've re-installed TR2 after the format, copy and paste them back into the Tomb Raider II folder.

Lara references a "pre-Incan" civilisation in the of Legend (at about 1 min in), which is the reason I mentioned Incas before. Incas lived in Bolivia and Peru, not Mexico. When did I deny the existence of Mexican deserts? You're the one who seems to think that "Mexico" is a general term for everything below the United States. Just because there's a desert in TR:L doesn't mean that it takes place in Mexico. Have you ever visited the Tomb Raider Legend official site? Go to "Game Info" then click on "Locations". Take note of the lack of a marker on Mexico. You're the one making yourself look stupid by arguing about something you know nothing about, after you've already been proved wrong multiple times

Errrr... what Mexican volcanic explosion? Do you mean the explosion in New Mexico, which is an American state? The one that was caused by nuclear testing? Also, do you really think that Peru looks like Greenland? You do realise that Greenland is an arctic country covered in ice, right? Somewhat different to Peru. The Incas come from South America. Inca facts. Just because a country is located south of the US and has cactuses doesn't make it "Mexico". There's a-whole-nother continent down there. Have a look at the difference in location between Mexico (North America) and Peru and Bolivia (both in South America). Seriously, why are you arguing about this? I've posted proof of my claims, but you haven't even bothered to do a simple internet search to check your facts. If aren't going to show people the courtesy of backing up your arguments with facts, don't get involved discussions in the first place. It's simple manners.

Nope, wrong again. Mexico isn't in the level names of TR Legend: Khamoon is in Egypt, hence the hieroglyphics, the mummies and the rather noticeable sphinx:

I don't know if you're being serious here, but if you are, you're wrong. A little research using some walkthroughs, various Wikipedia articles, or even by actually playing the games, goes a long way. Plus, Egypt is not in Mesopotamia.

I wouldn't be surprised if she does suffer from a bit of low self-esteem. Being that famous must take it out of you, and some people think that if a person is famous it gives them the right to say some really vicious things about the person. All the little insecurities that most people have must get blown up if you have to see yourself in magazines and on TV all the time like that.

Lara has been to Rome before, but in Chronicles not TRLR. She hasn't been to Mexico (TR Legend went to Peru and Bolivia, not Mexico), Easter Island (TRLA was set in Scotland, the Channel Tunnel and France), Mespotamia (Lara went to Egypt in TR1, but not the Mesopotamian region), Vatican City (the location in TR2 was Venice not Vatican City), or Australia. I'm quite excited at the thought of going to Vatican City for some reason

Of course if you're only fighting against wild animals, there won't be any bodies to rob... It's unrealistic to have weapons and piles of ammunition randomly laying around, but it's necessary for you to be able to play the game. The idea of her bleeding and losing health sounds good, kind of an upgrade on the poisoning idea from TR3 and TR4. I hope if she has depleted health they make her limp around until you can give her a health pack.

Sounds like an interesting idea. I seem to remember that Core wanted to have you be able to buy health packs, weapons and ammo in Angel of Darkness, but that idea got excised with mostly everything else in that game It could make for interesting strategy if they make you choose what sort of weapons you'd like to take with you before you start a level, although you can always rob the bodies of your enemies if you want a new gun...

I hope they make the game more difficult by making the puzzles more difficult to figure out. It was always great in the older games to finally figure something out after being stuck for ages. I'm not too concerned with the action part of the game. It adds excitement, but I prefer the puzzle-solving and exploring to the shooting, so I don't particularly want it to be made harder myself.

Have a read of this. The installation took absolutely ages to complete for me, but those instructions should help if it absolutely won't finish properly.

Yeah, the new Underworld skin does that at low resolutions. Have a look in the bottom left corner of the main forum page for the drop-down box to change skins, and you'll be able to change it back

A new Underworld skin? *checks it out* I like it AngelR, when I turn my resolution down to 1024x768 it doesn't fit into my screen, but when I put it back up to 1280x1024 it fits fine, so it might be the resolution like Tom says.

Hi, welcome to LCO! Unfortunately there is no way to carry your weapons over from the last level of TR1 into Unfinished Business, so you're going to have to collect all of them all over again. The additional levels are indeed completely separate from the rest of TR1. Good luck with it
