I can do it very easily using the keyboard and mouse now that I know how to get the Adrenaline Dodge to work every time. The key is to hold the combat key down all the time. I got confused myself because it says "Combat Mode Toggle" on the controls page, so I assumed that if you pressed the combat key once you were in combat mode, but apparently not... Plus I had re-mapped the default combat key and the alternative one was very awkward to keep pressed

Come to think if it, that also happened to me a couple of times with the demo, but hasn't happened at all with the actual game, fortunately. In the demo the game completely locked up when Lara first encountered the wolves and the instructions flashed up, and wouldn't respond to any keys I pressed. I had to alt tab out of the game and end it using the Task Manager

You're either going to need to use the grapple topple the statue to get the boulder, or you're going to have to climb up to get it, depending on which boulder you're talking about. I haven't played Legend for a while so I don't know the exact route you'll have to take to get the boulder if you need to climb up, but this walkthrough from Stella explains it rather well. Climb either ladder. Jump sideways to grab the flat ledge at the figure's waist. Traverse to the center then jump straight up to grab its open mouth, then straight up again to the top of its face. Traverse back toward the ladder and jump to grab it. Climb the second section of ladder to the top and from there climb onto the head. Push the third stone sphere off the edge. Carefully climb back down the ladder. When you reach the bump in the ladder, instead of jumping over to the face, just let go; Lara will grab on again below. (Or, from the top of the statue, take a running jump over to the center statue and climb down the front of it.) Push the third sphere onto the center pressure pad to complete the puzzle.

The wolves in that level have the same problem. Those stairs must have an anti-bear and -wolf shield or something. I love how Lara just stands there calmly looking at the insane slathering rabid wolf

I think what you need to do is to follow the instruction that appears on the screen, because it may be waiting for a response from you. Try pressing left or right and roll/duck and see if that unfreezes the game.

Push the block under the closing door. Then you'll be able to grab the gate and then jump up to the gap above. Worked for me anyway.

Do you mean the bit where you have to get Lara to jump backwards off the wall? That drove me a bit insane... What worked best for me was to press left to send Lara swinging, let go while she was swinging left, and press back and jump as she reached the apex of her swing. Some people have recommended waiting until Lara Lara has turned back after reaching the end of her swing left and them pressing left and jump together.

It didn't occur to me that I needed to keep the combat button pressed because it's extremely awkwardly placed to use while actually engaged in combat (it's mapped to G by default, which obviously makes trying to press it, the direction keys and shift all at the same time not terribly easy). It's much better now that I've re-mapped it though. I did try keeping Lara firing at the tyrannosaur while it was charging a few times but that didn't work. EDIT: I've been informed that apparently the right mouse button enters combat mode too, but one of the first things I did was to re-map that key to Jump after I installed the game. Along with inverting the Y-axis

Okay, I have figured out that I needed to keep the combat mode key pressed, and then she'll do it. This is a bit of a problem because I only have so many fingers... I might have to re-write the combat mode key to shift or something when I have to deal with this again. TR252, I have no idea what the combat mode button is on PS2, but try keeping that pressed when the tyrannosaur charges you. Thanks for all y'all's help EDIT: Yeah, the shift key works very well (except it makes my pinky finger sore after a while...)

Thanks for all your help guys I'm still not having any luck though. I must be missing something really obvious here; it shouldn't be this difficult. I've made a video, could someone possibly tell me what on earth I'm doing wrong here? Lara loses her lock with the gun when I stop shooting at the T-rex, but it doesn't seem to make a difference if I regain it. The two or three times I managed to get Lara to do the move before, the t-rex lost hardly any health at all. I know that how much health it loses depends on where it hits, but it lost seriously very very little health those times.

Yeah, I had this problem too, and as far as I know it's because Lara can only carry a limited amount of ammunition. If you use some of the ammo you're carrying now, she'll be able to pick those shells up.

I am thinking there is something wrong with the game, possibly because I changed the controls around. If I still can't get Lara to make the dodge move after a couple more attempts (and going back to a previous save) I'll restart the game in easy mode and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise I'll have to get a savegame from somewhere.

Is it the crouch/roll button or the jump button? My problem is that Lara will always jump to the side, but the cross-hairs won't appear. Nothing I do seems to get the cross-hairs to appear (except for those two times, and I have no clue how that happened).

Yeah... Lara won't do the dodge when the T-rex gets enraged. I've gotten her to do it twice now, and I have no idea how I got her to do it those two times. I could experiment a little more to find out what I'm doing wrong, but since I absolutely hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate boss fights I'm disinclined to. The Rex runs toward Lara, the action slows down, I press either left or right and the roll/jump key and she's supposed to do the dodge move. Am I missing something here? Is the T-Rex supposed to be a certain distance away, or am I too close to the walls or something? What tricks do I need to know? I have a feeling the boss fights in this game are going to make me regret not playing in Easy mode...

Argh, why did the Central line have to choose today to go down?!?! I leave work early to rush home and install TR:A and then what do I find when I get to Stratford Station, but that the Central line has been suspended. So I have to catch the stupid bus and I get home late (but on the bright side, not only did I get a window seat on the bus, but a fire engine went past with a topless fireman inside )

Wow, AJ, the library sure attracts some dodgy people lol, I would never have dreamed of making a scene in a library when I was a kid. I was very well-trained that libraries mean quiet I did some part-time work at a hotel that had a restaurant/bar downstairs, and I occasionally ended up having to call the police on idiot drunk people. One guy once broke a glass over the barman's head (while the barman's back was turned). Another time a couple got into a bit of a tiff and started throwing bottles and glasses at each other Thank goodness I worked reception and didn't have to deal directly with the idiot drunks like the people who worked in the restaurant did.

I was doing my usual thing of sending Lara plunging off the waterfall today, when to my surprise she didn't go over the edge, but just stood there under the water. lol I managed to find the artefact near without having to look up how to do it like I normally have to do when finding stuff like that. Nah, it shouldn't be illegal. If Eidos don't want people playing something, I would hope they wouldn't be stupid enough to put it in a demo. Besides, it's doubtful that there is very much more in the demo besides what you get to play, or the download would have been a lot bigger.
