Can't get to it!! Jump to the pillar with spike, jump up, shimmy around, jump back to pillar and then to the slope and slide... well the problem is as soon as she lands on the pillar, the camera goes overhead and by the time you get the camera in the correct position, the pillar and the slope are retracting already. If I jump without adjusting the camera, she ends up landing on the floor and losing 1/3 of her health!! This is Messed Up!! :angry: :angry:

That's poor Logistic on Gamestop part!! The game is on my store shelves as of 8 am this morning and we got them in last week!!

the game I will play again but not St. Francis' Folly

well I think the old external HD that should be on Drive I is the culprit... because I plugged in a new external HD on the Drive I USB port and now it's showing all Drive H (external), Drive I (external) and Drive J (network)

I am at the Coliseum right after Lara's encounter with the 2 Gorillas!! I had Lara looking around and then climb up on a ledge when a deep rumbling voice out of nowhere said: "Better Pick Up The Pace" Who was that? The Emperor of Rome?

Whoohooo I have finished St. Francis Folly!! Thanks for all your help!! Once I have completed the game I can play any levels in any order, right? I will never have to play St. Francis Folly level again for as long as I live!!

now i'm stuck trying to do the wall run to the pillar...

I stepped on the first white square, then when the next white square was safe, I tried to step on it and she got killed but there are no blades protruding from it!!

ok I did all that and got the key now I can't get out of the room with those blades on the floor appearing and disappearing!!

Pull the Lever, jump on the block, jump on the raising gate and jump up to grab the ledge before the gate closes again. I can't get it!! I pull the lever, the camera angle is screwing me up and instead of jumping on the block she's going all kind of ways and if I do get her on the block, she can't jump on the raising gate fast enough before it closes OR if she does jump on the gate, it's not high enough for her to reach the ledge above. I tried adjusting the Camera Angle by moving the mouse after she pulls the lever but that only takes up valuable time. p.s. playing on the PC with just the keyboard and the mouse makes it even more difficult!!

when she's standing on the wall, press the forward button a few times without making her jump to get a feel of how far she goes.... she really doesn't wall run that far; as soon as she is as far as she can run, press the jump button and grab the L shaped ledges

several people had problem with this. shimmy all the way to the right on the ledge as far as Lara can go before stopping and can't go any further. press the down arrow or right arrow depending on your camera angle to make her get in the jump off position. then press space ONCE but HOLD IT DOWN to make Lara jump farther; as soon as she jumps off, Let Go of the space button - she will grab the far left side (closer to the entrance) of the ledge and start to lose her hand hold, immediately press E (the Yellow Exclamation mark will come up but it may be too late by then) to make her save herself from falling. Good Luck!!

limited to only 40 rounds of Shotgun Ammo? that's not good!!

Anyone else encounter this problem? I am playing the Full U.S. Retail version, out of a Box on an Original CD: In Lost Valley, right before she gets to the T-Rex after the bear by the Hut, Lara works herself up to a large deep opening with sloped sliding wooden panels; there is a Shotgun Shells Power Up by the stone stairs RIGHT AFTER THE CHECKPOINT and on the other side of the large opening, another Shotgun Shell Power Up on a wooden Ledge that Lara lands on. She will not pick them up; the YELLOW Exclamation mark won't even show when she's standing near them or on top of them. I have tried pressing E and also CTRL with Lara position from different angles!! Anyone else had this problem?

or just wait for the directional arrows to show up on the bottom right corner of the screen and press A and Shift at the same time while still have the gun locked on the T-Rex, Lara will jump sideway in slow motion, the 2 white reticles will become red, you will hear a PING and while STILL LOCKED on the T-Rex fire ONE SHOT ONLY!!
